looked around for months and I was yet to find a host. File
size limits, banners, advertising, 1mb space, 10mb bandwidth
was what some where offering. At first I was worried about
the whole forum posting required thing but I joined in
anyway. Who knew that a great place this would be.
Everything is offered in their hosting and why do you get
it? Because you post in a user friendly forum that also
gives you information and tutorials on many things. I will
use this for as long as it is open and will recommended to
everyone I know.

What can I say? Trap17 is
probably the best free there is. It has many
features equivalent to those of paid web-hosting
services, no banner-ads/pop-ups, and best of all
it's free! To be honest, I've tried a number of
hosts, ranging from geocities to top cities.
Mediocre web hosts are a dime a dozen, but Trap17 is
a diamond in the rough. It's also got a great
community, and excellent upload time to boot. What
more can you ask from free hosting?

you can have a very successful site with little
hassle. Trap17 only requires you to be active in
their forums. This is a great something you will
want to do because you can get fast and reliable
tech support from fellow members and trap17 staff
along with very fun discussions of all sorts.
Trap 17 hosting also comes with a massive selection
of preinstalled scripts such as php nuke, post nuke,
and phpbb2 forums. This saved me tons of time since
they already have everything I needed to get my
forums setup in no time.

finally a host that I have been looking for the only
downside to this site its better then the rest of them.
took me 8 years of searching the net to find the free
hosting that i have been looking for, I highly recommend
getting your .com .net or .org here, of if your into the
free hosting even better. So many feature it would take
forever just to use them all

I have been with this FREE
hosting company for almost a year now and there has
been near to nothing wrong with it. The quality of
hosting and amount of things they give you, is even
better than paying YOU to BE hosted. If anything
does ever go wrong the fantastic community at trap
forums are there to help you. I hope to be hosted by
trap for the many years to come, this is the first
known host to me that has lasted this long and kept
to their word.

Trap17 is the best free web host
I ever used (not counting the forum part). We get a
ton of bandwidth, and pretty much unlimited
everything else. I was dying for a host with cPanel,
and Trap17 has it. Even the forum is great (great
community, good topics, somewhat annoying moderators
that aren't really annoying, or at least to me). If
you wanted to know how I feel, it's TWO VERY LARGE
thumbs up. I will stick with you for a long time.

I have been threw a lot of free
web hosts in my time, but Trap17 is the best of them
all. My previous hosts where riddle with banner ads,
which really messed with my layouts, Trap17 has
none, so I'm free to do what ever I want with my
layouts. The thing that really blew me away was all
the stuff that my previous hosts wouldn't even dream
of giving me with out a hefty price tag. I'm free
now to learn and work with scripts that I would
otherwise never have learned.
When I first came here, I thought there had to be a
catch. I must need like 100 hosting credits a day to
keep my space, right? Where as the expiration date?
Let me guess, I can't use Email Forums? Nope, one
small hosting credit a day and your site will remain
up, and, yes, you can use Email Forums. The hosting
credits are rather easy to get. I though I would
never get the 30 credits to get my hosting. About 3
days and 27 posts later, I had enough credits and
then some.
Already in the past week I have learned how to work
with CGI scripts, just by reading the forums. The
forums are both fun and are a great learning tool.
The members are willing to help you if you run into
a problem even. It is very true that the forum is
very addicting as well.
I am extremely happy with Trap17 and I would give it
an A+

I have been looking for a good
webhost and I found one in Trap17. My previous ones,
Digital Pulse, Freewebs, Bravenet, Lycos, Yahoo ... etc
all lacked the things I wanted in a webhost, that is
functionality and stability. Trap17 gave me all that and
it had everything, good customer support, everything you
ever need in a webhost and above all full CONTROL. Many
webhost don't give you full control when it comes to
MYSQL databases and all, allowing you only 1 MYSQL
database without any owner permissions.
The only drawback is the posts needed to keep the site
up. But hey! The community is full of helpful people and
the topics are ever so interesting, so there is no
reason to see posting a responsibility. It is so great
that you will love it, and you wouldn't even know that
all those posting was for your site.
