| | PC World (which I subscribe to) did a review of new AJAX-based webmail services. In their review they included a product called Zimbra, which (from my limited knowledge of Zimbra and the following product) could effectively replace Microsoft Exchange. It includes a web interface to email, shared calendars and other cool stuff. This isn't a product that I ould get rolling with in two minutes however: You need to know a significant amount of information about the Web email system (which I don't understand), domain configuration, and a bit of Linux administration. In other words, this isn't a product for the average (or even not so average) Joe off the street.

And if you have trouble looking for the free version, it's the Open Source edition, not the Network Edition. |

Thanks a lot, it seems quite good, and the fact that this one is open source, it is incredible, just amazing, MS Exchange is out for good, it's like the firefox of browsers. Anyway, i don't see a package for windows, i see packs for all except for windows, and i don't want to start using fedora, do you know if there's a pack for windows?

Unfortunately, I didn't see a package for Windows. But if they did, I would be all over it. If you are a good developer, you could build a package for Windows with the open-source edition, but good luck, as I have no experience with this stuff.
