Ok, so my friend came over to my house the other day to verse me on a game of good 'ol Yuri's Revenge...

So, both computers have the IPX thing installed with the network address at 0000002 (forgot exactly how many 0's there are supposed to be) with the network type set to 802.3...

So, then I disconnect from the internet and connect to my friend's computer through a crossover cable, I turn off all my firewalls (Windows Firewall & ESET NOD32 firewall), so does my friend...

I open Yuri's Revenge and go to Options -> Network to see if everything is correct and stuff...

Then I go back to main menu and go into network, I can seemy friend's username but if I try to send him any message, my friend doesn't recieve the message, neither does my friend detect me...

So what could be the problem?



EDIT: Got it working... Mods/admins/anyone with moderation controls can lock this thread if they want to...
