Trap17 is more navigatable and has a cooler cPanel than computinghost... This may be opinion, but
the HTML editor on computinghost is long gone. The cPanel is the newer version but as always newer
isn't always better. So what if they have a new cpanel (ensim did the same thing)…the fact is
they left old software on for years when much newer and more secure versions are ready. Hell, php6
is about to come out. So in two years plesk, cpanel and ensim will finally go to php6 when php 8 is

Is there any way to resolve PayPal's most recent annoyance? I went to the trouble of getting
the money into PayPal from bank so I can pay instantly, bu when I go to order it wants to do this

Ok so im getting working on my site.. its a myspace layout site.. so you know its going to have OVER

Hello, I have just received a mail from ComputingHost. This mail tells the billing system is
changing and I have to click to approve. I know these kinds of mails are often used for phishing,

I purchased hosting plan compute_plan3s on May 1 2007 with a static IP and an SSL, and now no one at
ComputingHost can find my site. My welcome mail said that my IP address is 208.70.xx.xxx, but tech
support sais that is not one of their IP address. My web site was fully functionial two weeks ago,
and now its gone. This was sbmited under ticket ID:TYQ-607193. Can someone please look into this
as my customer wants there site back up and running, and I don't have any anwsers for them....

i just registered and made my payment. When i first accessed the cpanel site, my Firefox started to
show me all these "Do you trust computinghost?"-like windows that i accidentally clicked "no" to. Or
just one of them. I'm not sure. I thought that's the reason why i can't log into cpanel,

Hi there, guys, here is my problem: I signed up for your 3S hosting plan ( www.sonorama.net ) for
one whole year in december (or something) 2006, i think. In that precise moment, the number of
daily visitors were kinda increasing, but quite slow. Nowadays my site has increased the visits and

Ok well i am enjoying my time immensly on trap17 but i think it is time i moved on from that onto
computinghost as i eard some good things. Ok well first is it possible to move all my files from my

The recent server issues with gamma and theta were due to server restructuring of ComputingHost
services. ComputingHost has settled on final draft of hosting company takeover. ComputingHost
agreed to Shothost.com's sale terms and finalized as of this morning. All Shothost.com clients

Ok I currently am using another free host. And I need to make a move quick. I was thinking of going
with company x which offers 250GB of bandwidth, and 5GB of storage for the low 2.99/month. But I ran
across computinghost. I like the fact that I can have unmetered email, mysql databases and such not

question: My domain name is expiring in May. Is transfer to CH $7.99 as well, and how do I go
about doing this? My current hosting package is just right, 1GB space and 75GB bandwidth (although
I never even reached 10GB yet), but I would like to transfer to CH because of my prior good

Hello, I used Trap17 for a few months and was extremely happy with the service. I'm currently
working as a part-time webmaster and I'm strongly leaning to moving one of my clients over to
ComputingHost. However, my Trap17 account didn't support SFTP or SCP, and I feel uncomfortable
transmitting business information (and logon information) over an unsecured connection. Would it be
possible to enable either SFTP or SCP (or failing that, even FTPS) on a ComputingHost account?

I have few questions to ask. I have two functional websites hosted at two different servers.
Unfortunately I am now short of funds, so i wish to merge the site at one place to reduce hosting
costs. I can take full backup from cpanel on both servers. Say one site is name1.com and other
name2.com. If upon transfer of server, is it possible to backup full websites with MySQL databases
