Okay for those who dont understand, I come from Holland and thats the color of dutch team!

I hope Germany could make it for the 4th time . If the quotation " our land , our cup " is true , then you go Germany . But I think it's also very difficult especially this tournment . All I can say le'ts wait and see and definitely the best will win . Regards, Mohammed

So far there have been lots of close games ending with a goal at the last minute: Germany on Poland and today Sweden on Paraguay. Also England barely got 2 goals near the end of their game with Trinidad.

I think the end will be Italy VS Spain. Italy is one of the greats too, but the past two world cups they did not make a good showing. However they have a very good squad this year and their first game against Ghana shows that. I think Spain also found its Cup to shine in. It's been hiding for so long in international tournaments. Germany, Brazil, Argentina and France are good contenders as well.

i guess that Brazill and Italy will meet in the final. it said that Italy is the most powerful in World Cup history... certainlly,lots of famous players is filled with Brazill now,so the eventul result is hard to think out.

I guess the final will be Argentna-Brazil  , and I wish Argentina to win de WC...we have an excellent team, and in my opinion, we have been (with Spain) the best team in the WC until now...

Croatia are out of it, commiserations CroSpartacus, did you watch the game with Australia? I didn't, I only saw the edited highlights, but it appears that it was a match of high drama, not least of which were a number of dubious referee decisions. It pains me to say that I am a Brit and the referee this time was Englisman Graham Poll, he got himself in such a twist that he even ended up handing out 3 yellow cards (to the Croatian player Simunic), maybe the first time in history that a ref has handed out 3 yellows in a game. The final equalising goal by Australia (Kewell) was a cracker though. Ah well, onwards and upwards, time to start supporting your second favourite. I do not expect England to do very well, nothing about the way they are playing is exciting to watch at the moment, so already I am looking for another team to support, I think that team might be Argentina. I don't want Brazil to win, I am tired of the whole Renaldo thing.

Australia v Italy is gonna be a very interesting match... Australia the fighting underdogs v the heavy favourites of Italy.. being biased, I'll prefer that Australia will win.. but a draw might be enough to get Italy through.. (pending on other results and the fact that Italy is a higher rank)

I like Italy and I like Australia. Damn, its going to be tough to watch one of them get eliminated. Mexico´s games are very stressing games because there is a lot of emotion in their games. They are like always barely making it. It is said that lots of people here die from the combination of being fat, consuming greasy food, alcohol and smoking + the emotion of the soccer games = death.

United States got kicked out of the World cup, cuz ref made bad calls and they lost to there opponent  that really stinks...

(11) Alright well I decided I was going to be a bit more organized this year with the Trap17 Awards and
I'm going to start early and let people be more involved. So to start it out I'm going to
put up the categories and you guys will tell me if you think some should be changed and give me
ideas on what should be added. The number in () will be how many awards will be given out for that

World Cup 2006 Goals
(3) Today is the final, I hope Italy wins, I like their team better, I always have. What I find really
funny about living in Mexico is that you dont even need to be seeing the game to know when a team
scores a goal, you can just here some people from the whole neighborhood yelling when someone
scores, its crazy. I dont think the goals from this cup were good, this cup was more like a
defensive cup, there werent as many goals as the other cups.....
