At first seemed everything ok, but when i tried to install, at step 3 i got error in writing DB..
so i've deleted the database, restored it and start again.. but same problem..
the WP blog requires:
* PHP 4.2 or greater
* MySQL 3.23.23 or greater
* The mod_rewrite Apache module
is it ok for this MySQL DB?

is it ok for this MySQL DB? thanks guys the exact error would help out alot. Right now I can guess and tell you what to try but I doubt it will help any.

thank Klas. the error report is quite long.. just post the first rows CODE Database error: [Duplicate entry '1' for key 1]

are you restoring the database from a previous WP? if so the tables are still there and you do not need to install again. If your doing a fresh install then make sure the DB is empty then run the install script.

i just deleted database in the control panel, logout and then created again. this time i didnt re-uploaded the files. just followed the install step. either cant understand why the newer version of the blog doesnt work.. i mean, with the 2.0 version i neither follow the install step, giving me a failure notice that WP isnt install..

It is possible that this may be the limitation of instant free service of Trap17 dot NET. I cannot say for sure unless the server site admin can verify. Hi I tryed the same program and you need a newer phpmyadmin and the trap17.net service won't work with wordpress because they only let you have one database and don't give you all the tools like privleges. If you don't have all privleges it won't work.

An XSL Transform Error

Page Load Error When Trying To Get Into Control Panel
I just changed domain (2) I had put a domain name that I didn't have when I registered my website. I got the 15 credits
and changed it to a subdomain. Now I can't log into my control panel. At first it was telling me

Combine Mediawiki And Wordpress
(1) I have a small requirement here. Is it possible to combine a wordpress and a mediawiki. It might be
a little strange why I want to do this, thats because I want a blogging platform to be integrated
within the wiki I have now, instead of using one of the articles to be used to post stuff... where

Windows Vista Installation Fails
(3) Hello. I tried Installing Windows Vista Home Premium today, but when it comes to the part
of the Installation where it says "Your computer will restart several times" my computer restarts
more then 40 times, and never loads after that. After like, 10-15 minutes of it being off, I switch
it back on, and it restores to XP (Witch is good because it wouldn't start up at all). I've
tried installing this 4 times altogether, and nothing. it keeps restarting continuously more then 40
times. The only time it restarts is after the BIOS loads, when switching/restar....

Wordpress Categories Disappear

assign them to different categories but a few days later, the categories disappear and all my posts

Error E74? (xbox 360)
(11) Okay so me and my friend were playing guitar hero and all of a sudden the screen got all block like
and the graphics all turned into green swirly squares. So we thought maybe the A/v cord was loose or
something i turned off the xbox and re-plugged the a/v cords in now every time i turn the xbox on it
flashes 1 red light and says Error E74 in about every language i know of... I have called

(1) We have just set up a Windows Server 2003 x64 system for the purposes of being a dedicated web
server/media streaming server. Up to this point, we have been using Windows Server 2003 x86
environment and everything is running well. I have migrated the IIS settings over to the new server
and all appears to be going well when tested except that I have now lost all DB connectivity to the
3 small Access databases that I have in the server. All permissions and set ups are the same.
