hey,

im not gonna be able to post for a while becuase for the next 2-3 weeks i'll either be studying for exams or actually doing an exam. i'll try to post once in a while, but im not sure if i can. so please note this down admin! biggrin.gif

Dear Bash

This should not be problem for now its only 2 weeks and you'll post every now and then.

Also our exams are this week to but i am exempt from all of them but one.

Your eduction comes first and its good of you to take suck consideration in your grades.

    Well Since I spent most of my weekend hear monitoring the forums I seen a huge decrease in members
    logging in and the lack of posting as well in general. Although people are logging in and posting,
    spam posting is showing up more i caught a few myself and looked over ones that been already taken
    care of as well. Also old topics are surfacing again as well. So i think it's time we brain
    storm idea's on how to improve overall posting and people joining and staying as well. Let stay
    away from free hosting credits and free hosting plans. some suggestions i have ....

    I installed Phpbb forum on trap17 hosting with the help of Fantasico thing.Its very great but the
    problem is that , anyone can post there , i mean even Not registered members can post there and the
    forum doest even tell him/her that you need to sign in before you post , i want to remove this thing
    , i want that they should be a registered member and signed in , in order to post any reply or any
    new topic.I tried to find the option in admin area but i couldnt , can any one tell me how to enable
    that function.Thanks....

    Hey, guys. Recently, as I'm sure is the case with many other members of Trap17.com, school has
    started. It has brought along with it many new responsibilities and activities that take up much
    time. Because of these new obligations, I know personally, it has become much more difficult to
    post on the forums. I understand that this community is based around the forum and the
    participation of the members in this community, but I was wondering if perhaps an alternative could
    be explored. If I'm not mistaken, the majority of Trap17.com's income is rooted in ad....

    I'm planning on posting scanlated (scanned and translated) manga (Japanese Comics) on my site. I
    know for one, what I'm doing isn't illegal, because fan scanlations of UNLICENSED
    Manga/Anime is allowed. Just as long as the anime/manga remains unlicensed by English translation
    companies, it is allowed. I do wonder if it's OK to post such things on a Trap17 hosted site. Of
    course, if the manga becomes licensed, I'll remove it immediately. I'm planing on posting
    Daa! Daa! Daa! Manga which is unlicensed. I come here to ask, because I'm....

    Many errors when people post (11)
    It seems lately that I have seen a lot of grammatical and spelling errors when people post in the
    forums. I really have enjoyed my stay here at Trap17 but I get really frustrated when I see
    people carelessly type their message and give little consideration to any errors they may have
    typed. Now of course it's not a big deal if there is one or two errors when you post, but when
    someone posts a small message and there is a couple of errors, it really bothers me. I'm not
    going to whine or anything, I just want to pass the message that we should all do our best ....

    I think this new system of post characters = credits is very good. it allows you to automaticlly
    delete un-used accounts but. . . the conditions of how to get credits have their good and bad side.
    pros: Members will now make more of an effort to post Members will make fuller/longer posts Members
    will avoid small spam messages for fear of being banned cons: People will waffle on to reach 300
    characters Peoples posts could easily be made into spam, again just to get to 300 characters. People
    may start making pointless topics to simply get some credits This is not an atta....

    I was wondering if there is some kind of button combination or something that takes off the
    overwrite opition. I really hate it when i type a long topic and a spelling mistake is somewhere in
    it and i cant fix it because of overwrite. I know a soultion to copy my meesage and paste it to
    notepad and paste it back but i dont like dont like doing that all the time. Any suggestions or
    someone know how to do it?....
