wow talk about this being a popular thread.But to comment on some of the postscomparing depthcore to sigs is bad example due to the fact that they deal with large more detail designs mostly c4d work. You could only campare sigs with sites like gamerenders, charmed arts and chaos gfx.though some people are natural talent doesn't mean they have the right to straight up bash someone elses design... read more.
What is a SOTW? Maybe you need to describe that in your post.
The picture is very good and it does relate to winter. I'll give it a 9.7/10. You should give a link.

4/10... it is monotone, the text is pixelly and it's color doesn't match the rest of the sig well, the render takes up more than half of the sig

i noe wad u mean but some ppl r more pros and for them their standart is very high so im not good for them
Even still they could be more supportive. Most people in this forum are really helpful but the odd person always lets wvwrything down.
The rating that hedzup gave could have been higher, cause it doesn't add up properly. He commented on four things, which would mean 10 minus 4, which equals out to be a 6/10 rating. I'm not sure why two more points were deducted.
But the sig could use more work. Maybe adding tiny snow flakes around the sig. The text could be more visible, and maybe 'frozen up,' if you know what i mean. And a little mixture of light blue, for a more ice feel to it. Latest Entries

I seen that alot of big sites with people who think they big and bad cause they been doing it for years or whatever. no its not wrong to copy other ideas that how most of the sotw that I did got done. But to comment on the design the only thing hurtying this is he lack of depth to the background work on some lighting techniques and it will look a bit better.
hedzup is right in this situation. You can help the people but you do not tell them how they should make their own sigs. That is like telling someone what they should have to wear while they are home alone. The help though that the person is getting is the fact that they learn what is out of place in the sig. Now from there, the person should try to find out how to improve on what was commented on. People here are certianly not babies, and we do not need to hold their hands.
Now to comment on the sig. I give the sig a 6/10. First the sig is monotone. If it could be livened up a little more than it would be a little more appealing. Next the text is out of place. The color does not blend in well with the rest of the sig and also it is hard to read. Also the background does not have much going on for it like you mentioned. Maybe if you could do something to add some fractical bruses to work like it is snow then something could make it jump out more. Last I think that the colors should be a little brighter to celebrate the white snow that comes with the season. The sif that you have now is so dark. But the last is just my opinion.
Im not saying they should be judged on how long they have been doing it for, you could just offer advice on ways to improve as well as pointing out cons. Thats all i was saying

two three four five and like I said, suppose there was a competition, see, and it was people who 'are new to it' and those who have 'done it for years.' they would win only on what they made, not how long they've been doing it. I only look at the sig, I don't consider how long they've been doing it... merely since it's only an excuse. sorry if i offended anyone... i only meant to GIVE MY OPINION BECAUSE YOU ASKED FOR IT. 
Very well but aint this in the wrong post bro.
I just think it seems like you forget that the people who made the things in those links have been doing this for years and many people on this forum are new to it. Hence why they are asking for help or such. Im not saying what you say is wrong. It may well be 3/10 but i just think people should be helping others to improve as well as telling them all the bad things. It seems to me like your quick enought to tell people all the bad point but not so quick to help.
