| | I use Linux mostly because it is my server forr irc, and I have to interact with it cionstantly so that I can use diffrent applications on it to help support my website (which by the way is .04mb to big to install lol) I use Windows also because many applications are made for WIndows and it has an okay gui. Macs are just used because they have supieror graphics. But they are also used because most people think that no one has a mac so they are virus free. (Tangent Alert) I got a Dell, 80 gigs, XP Home, and I tried to run defrag, but it said I had to run chkdsk it said that i had to restart my computer so all my apps weren't running. So then it runs before the OS boots up, and everyone time unless I cancel it, it just restarts and goes into a loop. (End) So my favorite would have to be Winux, its Linux with a windows emulator  |

I have a mac and I'm very happy of that..Mac OS X works very well, I don't have problems with it..I'm not interested into hardware and games so my iMac is perfect for me...I can use photoshop, flash, dreamweaver, that's al I need

I mainly use Linux on my laptop since I need to carry it around school and it's stable so when I'm taking notes, I don't need to worry about BSOD or sudden reboots like on Windows. I use Windows on my desktop since I'm not going to bother dual booting anymore since it's taking me too much of my time to maintain it. xboxrulz

I use windows, i really want to start using linux, but i think im waiting till windows longhorn comes out, and then buy new hardware for that OS b/c its supposed to be momory and speed hungry, and then ill build a new computer for that and ill install linux in the one i am currently using.

I use Windows the most simply because it is the OS most available at home, school, and most people's houses. I use Mac OS 10 on a G4 for recording music however and it runs really smooth.

I use Windows XP. Always. Never used Linux before, so I can't say anything about it. But I know I hate Macs. Ever since I first had to use one in Elementary school, they've always annoyed me. I don't know what it is about them. But everything Mac / Apple makes annoys me. Even the iPod, and the iThis and iThat and iEverything. But that's just me, don't take it personally, I just hate Mac. I also have Linspire, but I've never used it, my dad hasn't installed it on my computer, only on his.

Has to be windows all the way. So many more programs you can run on windows that you cant on linux/mac.

I personally use Windows based systems on both my desktop PC and my laptop. I just feel, from what i have experienced, that Windows is the most user friendly, at least this is my view. Also, i hear from my mate (who uses both Linux and Windows) that he is always having problems with installing new programs on his Linux system, this maybe because he is a fool, or because it's the way the linux system works. I have heard though that Linux is more secure than windows, but i am not so sure of this is really the case. These are all just my personal views, so don't go shouting at me if it is not your own view.

I use the 64-bit Windows XP or Windows Longhorn Beta4 Microsoft Private Issue because of games, easy ness and the fact that 64-bit is just.. unbelievable! And Longhorn is ok to but I cant tell you anything about it srry! ~Fuhrer Darker 333

Windows Explorer Crashes Consistantly [resolved]
closes itself down after leaving on for a few minutes (6) This is a constant problem whenever I try sorting my files, suddenly Windows Explorer shuts itself
down by calling in Dr. Watson. Then restarts and repeats again after awhile. It doesn't happen
all the time, but the crash problem comes frequently and I have no idea how to diagnose the problem.

Ctrl + C Will Not Work
Windows Xp Pro SP2 (17) I recently built a computer, everything seems to be alright with it, except one thing, CTRL + C just

programs that were on the computer, started claiming that they were out of memory, and after he shut
