| | I heard about this Windows 2003 enterprise has been out for a while now and i been told it was on the microsoft site available for downloads from people. So if anyone who already used it or seen someone use it. I have a question. I am trying to make a webserver for downloads or maybe host a website... whatever the case is (maybe even a game server  ). Does windows 2003 give you the opetion while installing to make it a server and not a user machine. I do not want to use linux because i'd waste a long time strudying how to use it first and i need this fast. Any replies are appreshiated.

Yea, that's what I though too. I think that Windows 2003 is only for servers. Anyways, good luck!

If you want to serve a download server, better go for linux! But Win2003 IS design for servers.

yeah very truth srbempire, actually win2003 Enterprise and i think the other versions too( i have used them) are designed to be a dedicated server or even a user computer, im telling you man, i have some games her and honestly i love the performance this thing give me, what's more win2003 E has radio features, streaming and onDemand as well, if i have used them?, yes i have, but honestly you must have a very good connection in order to deliver full packages to clients, you said you want to do a host or even a download site? dont worry Win2003 has a built in ASP app to let you monitor your server while you are in chine or wherever, you can restart it and just shutt it down, but one of the features i love the most is when you connect via RemoteDesktop to the server and manage it without having to install any extra stuff.... hope it helps cheers!

Windows Xp: Explorer.exe Crashes On Certain Accounts
(3) I share a Windows XP computer with two friends, and we each have our own User Account on the
computer. Recently whenever my friends use the PC, they begin to have problems with it. For no
reason whatsoever, Windows Explorer will crash and close all the current folders that are open. I
went onto their User Accounts to see for myself (with permission, of course), and found that
Explorer would crash any time I right-clicked a File, and would also crash on occasion if I clicked
"File" on the Folder Window's Menu Bar with a file selected. It also happened on rare occasion....

(6) Okay, I've had Vista for a few months now but just recently my Windows Explorer has been having
problems. It says "Windows Explorer has stopped working" and then I click the option restart the

Windows Vista Randomly Freezing
Vista freezes randomly (15) So I just installed vista upon the almighty computer, and it worked fine for a day or less. (Bah). I
installed all my drivers and such and went on my merry way. Now all of a sudden it starts freezing

Rpg Maker 2003 Music Problem
(3) I have been working with RPG Maker 2003 and I have run into a problem. When I open the BMG tab I
try to listen to music. However, when I click play nothing happens. I have the Rtp file with the
standard midis in it. But they just wont play. The WAV files included do play. The only way they
seem to play is if I put all of the files into my windows media player. Once the first song has
played and as long as the player is running I can listen to songs via the RM2K3 program. However,
