Which Of The 2 Designs Would You Prefer?

Hi all,

Based on many feedbacks i have received for my personal website located at guillaumeb.com, I have come up with two compltly new styles.

The first one.
I dunno what you may think but I think the main part may be easier to read on a white background.

The second style .
is actually the one people tend to prefer omore so far.

I am wondering what you guys think about them

Well I tend to think that it would be easier read with white on black unlesses bolded. I think the text just looks better on the black. Interesting design you have there. I can't say I've seen something like it before. The navigation isn't really center in the navigation box just to let you know. I think you should have a mouse over effect with each link, it would look good with the brackets. If I could read it I would be able to tell you more but that's about it.

I prefer the second one, same with the majority of the people.
Both designs are quite readable. I don't really recommend doing the navigation bar in the middle of the page.

The second one looks a little better though.

i see the set up before, never really liked it due to the nav being in the center like that. But the first one is the better of the 2.

Yeh well I wanted something similar to kenbacca.com for the layout.

I was preciely asking the question because of the dark background of the second style which I thought might be a bit oppressive to the reader

I like the second. The white i think is too plain. The only thing that i do not really like is the nav in the middle. I just have never seen one in the middle, but it's your website and it looks great. second one for sure though.

I like the second one better. I think that the first one can be improved, though.

Do you see the similarities between the second one and kenbacca.com? The colors on the left and on the right are similar. On the first one, you're using three different colors, and that just looks like the page is too complicated.

I think both are very good
They both use the same template but different colour schemes.

You could use both as alternative design.

Also you could use a random script to choose between the two when anyone loads the page.
