What's With Kids These Days?

the_darcy
wtf is up with kids these days? i'm not talking about toddlers or anything. i'm talking about those effing elementary and middle-school kids who stand up for themselves when i attack them! ok, that came out wrong. what i mean is, why are kids so damn bold these days? what happened to that aura of FEAR that highschool kids put in the hearts of these kids with just one look. i remember when i nearly pissed my pants when some highschool dude pointed to his wrist and smiled at me; he wanted to slash wrists up!! ok fine, so he was only asking for the time. but till, it was scary.

Once, on the bus, i had to smack a kid upside the head to put him in his place. he had taken my seat! wtf!! haha jp. but seriously, I need your help people. it's time to make things go back to the way they were!!

Smack a kid near you!!

Well this is in general a complain to free hosts, not about this 1 keep that in mind havent used it
    yet /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> In general
most free hosts are resellers or rairly use there own servers. Some full with adds even with simply
html support full of spam. Now I host my own msql mysql php etc, for my projects on dictated
servers. And I know that its heavy to host if its used a lot. But html I really hate a host if he
advertises even on html pages I really think that is so retarded. And yust a way of ma...
  3. Mich Venting Again! - Yet another one of those days. (10)
Well, here I go venting again. Got a new (slightly used) eMachine with twice the memory and 4
times the hard-drive space. OK, so we have 2 monitors, no problem, right? Uh-huh! When I
hooked the old puter up to the extra monitor, it couldn't handle the colors and resolution. So
we have to switch the monitor to whichever puter we want to use. So I set out to configure my
eMachine to ready it for transfering files from old puter. The eMachine combo read/write CD DVD
drive doesn't seem to like the CDs I burned on the old puter to transfer stuff. Sinc...
  4. What's The Mission In Iraq? - (23)
Bush will go down in history as the most stubborn and least wise of all Presidents of the USA. I
emphasize "least wise" because I feel that there is no wisdom being used - only bad intelligence
(remember the scene from "Team America"? Spotswoode "That was bad I.N.T.E.L.L.I.G.E.N.C.E., very
bad I.N.T.E.L.L.I.G.E.N.C.E."). So, Bush said very recently "There is one thing we will not do: We
will not pull our troops off the battlefield before the mission is complete." I know that he is
trying to straddle the line for support from moderate republicans, keeping up the "to...
  5. What's The Problem With America's Youth? - I have the questions, I want your answers... (69)
What is the problem with America's youth? Not just violence, but things like skipping school,
dropping out, failing, the insane ability to destroy the English language, and i guess violence too.
What causes students to feel compelled to skip school? Is it some kind of "Fight the Man"
mentality? Of course no one realizes that working at McDonald's for the rest of your life
isn't as bad as going to school for five* (yes, only five) hours a day. Most likely because the
people telling them this are the ones considered to be "The Man" and they must be disobeyed a...

Grr. I just have to vent some since my day has been one of those days. /sad.gif"
    style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> Got up this morning to rain
and snow combined. The temperature is wavering so much that the weather doesn't really know
what to do. Booted up my puter to do some printing. In the middle of things the printer decided
that it doesn't know how to auto feed anymore. Sooo, I had to hand feed each page. /mad.gif"

My Pet Peeves: - when people leave pens with no caps or unattended on the desk - when people do
things purposely just to get you mad - those little pests (flies, ants, etc) land/crawl up your
arm...GROSS. - when you can't find the other sock! - negative attitudes from people you
don't know - pens or pen caps on the floor - repetitive clicks from mechanical pens - "your"
mispelled as "you're" actually, it doesn't really bother me - dark circles - not being able

  8. So Called 'friends'! - What's their problem? (10)
You know what really bugs me? Your friends that piss you off! Like I have this friend and she
got asked out by a guy. They went out for 1 day then he dumped her because he didn't want to
ruin their friendship. He's a really nice guy and me and all my friends (except my friends he
asked out) agree with him. She had a cry about it as you do but she didn't stop there. She went
on about it for ages. We were on holiday as a school at the time. We when shopping and she bought a

  9. Kids Bop - Agh...they're already on volume 9... (24)
Ok, you guys might think I'm a little immature to be ranting about some kids CD, but I just
needed to let my self out somewhere. This is like...a sad excuse to be making money. It even
sickens me how people actually buy this series! I mean, when the first two volumes of Kids Bop
came out, I thought it was pretty cool and now they're on volume 9?! How can you find their
music enjoyable? It's a bunch of ametures singing all the popluar songs? Even from watching the
commercials, I couldn't bare the way they were singing, it was pathedic. And you ca...
  10. Modern Day Movies - What happen to the good old days... (14)
Ok, this is my first offical thread I'm posting, so hopefully I'm doing this right. Anyway,
this is a rant I've had for a few years now. Being a fan of horror movies, I tend to notice
things like set design, storyline, and just over all film value. I've been watching more modern
films and I've been wondering, "What in the world has happen to modern day movies?" They
don't even really build sets any more, just grab a CGI guy put your actors in front of a
green/blue screen and your good to go. I can understand for some sets, but not all of them. ...
  11. Kids And Parents - (5)
So I heard this fourteen year old girl complaining the other day about how her mother wouldn't
let her stay out all night on prom night because her boyfriend is nineteen. She called her mother a
bich. Uh, hello? You're fourteen! I used to think my parents were being overprotective
idiots, but now I understand why. The world is a harsh place out there and has no room for teenagers
who think they know everything. Your parents have lived; I am pretty sure they know a thing or two
about this thing called life. Sure, sometimes they might be a wee bit ridiculous...

  13. Kids Who Go To Public Swims.. - .. Just to bother the lifeguards (12)
So, just as a bit of info before I even start, I work as a lifeguard/swimming instructor at a pool.
I have for about six months, and before that I coached for a swim team.. I don't have a problem
with kids. Unless they're causing problems on purpose. Today started off with a 2 1/2 hour
english exam. That in itself is enough to entirely ruin the day. I finished with a whole two
minutes left, and I ended up leaving out a whole paragraph. I then had a huge lunch "hour" of 30
minutes. After that, I had a 3 1/2 hour AP math exam. This was the worst part of t...
  14. Vent? - what's the forum called vent for when you can't (5)
I just looked at my topic 'Women' and saw it was closed because it invoked some harsh
emotions from people. Honestly so what?! This forum was made for people to vent about something
that's bugging you. I made the post because I was angry at my wife, and it was just a way to
let go of the evil spirits, words, or w.e. For it to fuel the whole "sexism" or "he's an idiot"
please save it. That's the beautiful thing about a forum..If you don't like it move to the
next topic and if you have constructive criticism post it up. It wasn't the w...
  15. Venting On The Computer Modem - So far it took me 3 days and nothing happen (7)
Well my sister received a free computer (2.5 ghz pentium 4 etc) and for some reason I can't
install the modem. I have dial up. I keep buying new modems and trying it for Window XP and it
STILL doesn't work. Each company says compatible with Window XP but none of the modem is
digitally signed. This the first time that I had problem with installing a modem and it really gets
me vented. So many times I had to install/uninstall the modem and it would not change anything. So
far it's been three days and over 10 tries of installing/uninstalling the modem and ...
  16. What's The Deal... - Some people are just insane (4)
So, I'm hangin' around on IRC alot. And there's this girl I've been talking for a
while, like 6 months. And so we finaly meet, in person, and hit it off pretty good. Not in that kind
of way, we just seem to like similar stuff, and do similar things the same way... And now, out of
the clear sky, she doesn't want to talk to me, she says she doesn't like the way I talk to
her! WTF??? I've always been kind and polite, as with any other person, and now this??? And
believe me, I DID NOT DO anything... There was a lot of potential of us being gr...
