go to different websites that I really don't need to do I guess

play PC or online games
write my school papers

I use my computer mostly for work and study but it's also my entertainment system. I havn't played games in years but thoroughly enjoy watching videos and listening to some good mp3's. Of course one could not forget the use of the web to update my page and do the general surfing thing. I enjoy my PC but make a concerted effort to not let it rule my life and to spend less than 2 hours a day on it.

1: surf the net in general 2: to talk to friends and socialize , and in general meet new people 3: Im a hardcore file-sharer, everything from movies to mp3 to software to Porn lol( at least im honest) 4:I play the guitar so i use my PC as an amp to practive with and record music.... 5: Keep updated with news around the world, and with friends and artist's news, models bla bla bla 6: Shopping , everything from clothes to computer parts. 7: research of every kind , you would be suprised at the things i look up. 8: I use my PC as a TV, watch movie on it all the same. 9: Listen to music. 10: as a gaming console 11: I use my Pc to get guitar lessons and tabs 12: Use my pc to make money

well mine is pretty similar to a few before me. I use my computer for lots of my school work (research, essays, blah blah blah). also for browsing the internet, checking out sites, posting in some forums. photoshop and dreamweaver for learning how to and then building my site. then also for other entertainment like music, games, and sometimes a movie. must have been really different when computers were not around

Well first off I can't I never posted in this topic  Ok I as for what I use this my computers for is pretty much everything; school. work. web design, graphic design. After all that I play games, chat with people, read, post in forums such as Trap17 (cheap promo), and going surfing looking for stuff on the net in my spare time as well.

I use my computer to manage my website make flash games,graphics,3d renders,music,making .avi, and for homework. My computer is not high enough to handle those big time games i can play counter strike and world of warcraft but the other games like supreme commander i will need to upgrade my computer big time.

Decent Computer

Can't Start Up My Computer
(6) I can't start up my computer. When I switch it on, it just goes to a blank screen, or sometimes,
it will go to the Blue Screen of Death, and the message on it changes every time, so I don't
even know how to solve it. I've gotten the Page Fault In Non Paged Area error a couple of times.
I tried to boot my computer from my Windows XP Service Pack 1 CD, but after running it and repairing
Windows XP, the problem isn't solved. I've also tried to start my computer from safe mode
but it still shows the BSOD. I don't even know how it happened. I didn'....

Unsolved Computer Issue
(7) I've posted this at another forum and they've pulled a blank on what it could possibly be...
For the past three weeks, my computers have not been able to see one certain web domain. I have 3
computers running on a wireless network with a belkin router and one computer as the provider for
the internet to the router via a wired port. This website use to be accessable by each of the
computers and one day I woke up and it says the server cannot be found. My friend who is being
provided internet by centurytel the same as I am is able to view this site and I am not....

Computer restarting while playing games (7) I have read in a lot of forums about the importance of this component. And with regards to my
problem of the computer restarting while playing games, this could very well be the reason but I
can't confirm anything. When I bought my graphics card Winfast A6200 TD, a minimum of 400w

New Computer, Help With Parts?
(12) so you may have heard that my pc died a while back, i was trying to see if anybody in this forum
knew how to fix it lol. anyway, i've now decided to replace some parts in it, a simple upgrade.

Is it better? (7) What do you think of the widescreen display laptops are beginning to adopt nowadays? Is that the
right way to go? Or should we stick to our original display (800 * 600, 1024 * 768 ... etc) instead

Computer Is Slowing Down And Skipping
Every program, even windows has lag.... (12) My computer has been slowly getting slower by the moment, I have no current internet connection but
I've had one before. I've ran every anti-virus program I could think off. It seemed to speed

Strange Thing Happened To My Computer

Computer Problems - Hanging/crashing
PC Randomly Crashes And Hangs, Ideas? (16) I recently got a new computer, a NEC i-Select D5410. A few days ago it started to randomly crash,

Slow Internet Browsing With Brand New Computer
(14) I have a brand new computer running Windows XP 512 MB RAM, Compaq Presario 1.4Ghz Celeron. I am
