Mhm, I pretty much like everything besides HipHop. Opera can actually be quite nice. I listen to mostly gorillaz, there music is sort of techno, punk music. But I like raps, pop, punk, rock, hip hop, soul, r&b and thats about it lol. I don't like folk, country, western, jazz, blues, orchestra and old people stuff like the hokey pokey!
I like rock, new and old, but mostly new. Anything on 99.3 the fox (Vancouver). I don't wan't to start a rap/rock flame war here, but I hate rap. Its just talking quickly to a beat.

I listen to any genre, it pretty much depends on the artists if they're any good. Lately I've been listening to a lot of 'The Strokes' and 'Coldplay'. I also love Carrie Underwood of American Idol and she's very country so anything goes with what I like, really.

I love poetry. Thats why i always like meaningful songs. My favorite music is URDU Ghazals. Ghazals having great poetry. And if you talk about only ENGLISH, then i like pop and soft music. Celine Deon is my favorite and i think she has great poetry in her songs.

Rock, and Punk = Rancid, Linkin Park, Blink 182, Boxcar Racer, Weezer, Billy Talent, Three Days Grace, Blur, and Green Day. ( I don't like American Idiot much, but I loved Dookie. ) Pop and other = Kelly Clarkson, and Brittney SPears.

I listen to and enjoy an eclectic range of styles, which can vary greatly on my given mood, time of day, the weather, or amount of alcohol consumed. Generally, I prefer thought-provoking, introspective music written in the minor mode, be it ethnic, classical, contemporary, or metal - especially metal. I'm getting hosting points here, eh? Just checking before I move ahead. If I had to be stranded on a desert isle with one genre to entertain and sustain, it would be Celtic. There's something about Gaelic melodies that speak to my very soul. Lately, I've been enjoying the service of Pandora.com, which offer a sort of virtual jukebox based on your personal preference. This has exposed me to even more Celtic music I wasn't even aware of. Take Rainbow's Night, for example. Some of you may be familiar with heavy metal guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, who played with Deep Purple and then ventured off on his own project. Well now, he performs in a wonderful accoustic act called, "Blackmore's Night," and he produces a pseudo-renaissance/Celtic band (which he performs in of course) that blows me away. I love his acoustic renditions of metal classics like, "Soldier of Fortune." Speaking of, I feel the need to go listen to it now...

Mostly classic rock, AC/DC, Def Leppard, Ozzy, as well as Limp Bizkit, Creed/AlterBridge, and new bands like Bleed the Day...

Well, pretty much all I listen to is metal, but I enjoy tonnes of the sub-genres that exist in metal. These include: Black Metal Death Metal Folk Metal Thrash Metal Power Metal ...and many more! Pretty much, as long as its metal, and its good, I'll listen to it. As for my favorite artists: Frost Like Ashes A.W.A.S. (Ardent War Against Satan) Feast Eternal Holy Blood Slechtvalk Kekal Elgibbor DivineFire Adiastasia Majestic Vanguard The Thunderlords Crimson Moonlight Virgin Black ... and many more!
