For the design :
Adobe Photoshop CS and sometimes Flash MX 2004 Professionnal For the codage : Dreamweaver MX 7 (only because I like the inferface but I never use the options...) FTP : Flash FXP
uhhh....i use paint shop pro 7, and sometimes microsoft paint and corel draw 7 for simple effects . but those two are practically useless. Paint shop pro is also good for making layouts with tables
 i've never tried adobe photoshop, is it really good? because i've heard a wot of people say it's really good and it just makes me want to have it so badly!!!! *drools *
i use:
-photoshop 7 for designing navigation menu, side bar, banner, web background, and else graphic -flash mx for button or animated banner -Dreamweaver mx for html coding and designing layout with table. Yet, i'm too lazy to make my website and have it uploaded....
I am using Microsoft Front Page Express for webdesigning. I started doing websites using the regular note pad. it was easy using note pad, i just read a lot about basic html codes and then i experimented with targeted frames.
but now that i have Microsoft Front Page Express, i could design websites much much easier. It is a WYSIWYG software so it very easy to use. With the photo editor, I have Adobe Photo Shop 7, but i am still a beginner so I am basically still into studying Selection and some basics. I also have Dreamweaver and Flash, but I am trying to do it one by one.
I don't use text editors that much anymore (except for the text editor in trap17 and Notepad). But, when I did use fancy text edtiors, I used Crimson Editor, PHP IDE, and something else (I can't remember the name). For graphics, I'll use either MS paint or the image editor in Game Maker (a game-making program). I guess I didn't and don't use the most advanced, hi-tech software there is, but the software I have does a good job nonetheless.
i use photoshop for making the layout and once i finish that i usually slice it in imageready. then transfer it over to dreamweaver for all the coding.
For coding, I use Programmers Notepad. It uses colored text to show what type of languarge you're usin' and if it's even a language. I can tell whether my html tags are correct or not. Before, I just used Notepad.
About WYSIWYG programs, from what I've seen, WYSIWYG editors aren't well like by most programmers. They just criticize you and tell you to learn html. And, in my opinion, that is the best thing to do. Ifyou don't know html and something goes wrong, you're outta luck. 'Course, WYSIWYG editor users are fine in my book. I'm not gonna not go to a site just 'cause the didn't code it themselves. As far as making images goes, I just use MS Paint. It works for simple graphics, and those are all I make. Latest Entries

i use adobe photoshop 7.0 and paint shop pro 7.0, adobe photoshop is better because it has alot more features but i started out with psp7 which was really easy for me to work and mess around with so i still use that for little things.
Actually, I use frontpage (to help me organize my HTML) Photoshop ( to make designs) Jasc paint shop pro (to help me make special effects in a flash) Macromedia Flash MX (attempting to use it to make flash movies ... not going to well) Animation shop (to make fig animations of course! I use that to make banners and buttons!
I also use HTML kit available for free. I use that when I'm bored and don't want to use frontpage! I also use the crisom editor when I edit php scripts because frontpage doesn't really like php sciprts... Crisom editor is easy to use because you can see the different colors for different tags and comments! I recommend it! And it's free! Where do you find it you ask?
