I use Paint shop pro 7 for my graphics. Its ok, but i use photo shop at my youth office and it bedazzles me
 . Its just that Paint Shop pro lacks a lto of features that can help you out alot. Not to mention there are a lot more brushes and tutorials for Photoshop than Psp.For Webdesign i use Studio mx 2004 and its just about the greatest thing that ever happened to me. Dreamweaver gives you so many features that before i had it, i didnt even know existed. LOL. Like, for instance, it includes a library of every language in webdesign :-D. It also lets you easily plan out hot spots automaticly, and same with DIV layers.
Actually I use 3 programs
1.Photoshop. 2.Dreamweaver. 3.Flash. and my website is http://www.mubashir.8k.com
I use Dreamweaver for most of the site. I particularly like the feature of changing between design view and code view. It also can help show you mistakes in code view.
Have just found a graphics program called Xara. Still too early to say how good or bad it is. There is help in the form of movies . Should help one learn the program quicker.
I also use HTML kit available for free. I use that when I'm bored and don't want to use frontpage! I also use the crisom editor when I edit php scripts because frontpage doesn't really like php sciprts... Crisom editor is easy to use because you can see the different colors for different tags and comments! I recommend it! And it's free! Where do you find it you ask? i use adobe photoshop 7.0 and paint shop pro 7.0, adobe photoshop is better because it has alot more features but i started out with psp7 which was really easy for me to work and mess around with so i still use that for little things.
I use Adobe Photoshop CS and Flash Mx 2004, they are the easiest to use for me compared to other programs, and I get great results.

I use Macromedia's products every chance I get. They're by far the leaders in image editing, and web-design. However in place of Photoshop, I use Fireworks MX. I can't stand Photoshop, mainly because of all the buttons I can never quite figure out the meaning of. The Layered PSD's are all fine and dandy, and I can make them with Fireworks, just as easily. For coding, I use notepad. If you read my article about the PHP require() function, you know why I mainly use Dreamweaver for code-checking. i use photoshop 8 cs for the grafik and dreamweaver for the rest
