| | For me i don't use notepad...(only if i don't have Dreamweaver Installed  )...LoL..........I use Dreamweaver Because i like it......And i think that it is the best because when i use the coding when i type about three letters from the code it gives it to me...and it also have great Flash Buttons and flash tools...and easily you can apply ActiveX controls and easily add a page refresh |

PageBreeze HTML Editor is free and a very good in my opinion. It also has WYSIWUG editing, which really comes in handy when I don't feel like coding anything, making a lot of things very, very easy.

I find dreamweaver and fireworks, and all that stuff really useful, but I still use frontpage and even notepad to do some light modifications on the coding

Fireworks is great, but whether it's the best depends on what you're actually trying to achieve at the time. Photoshop and Illustrator are both more appropriate on occasion. I do love Fireworks, and it's an essential part of my toolkit, but if I had to only use one program, then I'd pick Photoshop. I'd miss out on the superior vector-based graphics in Fireworks and Illustrator, but I wouldn't be able to do without the control for custom filters and the industry standard file formats that my clients and associates require their images saved to. In the real world, I use Photoshop, Illustrator and Fireworks and wouldn't want to be without any of them, as they all have their strengths!

Looking For A New Web Editing Program
I need a new web designing program (13) Ok, I am a web designer and I am having difficulty finding a good program that I can use that as
what i'm looking for. Now I have been using TSW Webcoder but it is causing alot of errors for me
and am getting sick of it wiping clean some of my site files. Well I am looking for a program that
has a wysiwyg editor, sort of like the quick edit used in TSW Webcoder but a more powerful one with

Dreamweaver, Front Page
(23) Hey guys I use dreamweaver to code my sites, I heard even though the "hardcore" people dont use it,
its at least better than front page. And what I was wondering is are there any website

Dreamweaver's a good Webdesigning Studio (22) I recently downloaded Macromedia's Dreamweaver 8, and I can say that it is the greatest
webdesigner that the world has ever seen! The only problem is that it costs too much money in my
tastes, but otherwise it is perfect! Does anyone know of a webdesigning studio that does not
cost any money and that can be downloaded off the internet? I tried using Notepad++ (search Google,
I cannot recall the site) and it is a coder, but not a webdesign. It doesn't actually show you
what the site will end up looking like, but it shows you colour-coded codes for your sit....

banners, etc. I'm getting Adobe Photoshop CS for Christmas , and then I'll be using both.
I find PSP easier now, but friends of mine who use Photoshop say that it's easy to use.

Dreamweaver Permissions Issue
Access denied when trying to FTP (5) Okay, so I was trying to FTP these files over dreamweaver today... and it seemed to be working fine.
But then, certain files won't let me transfer from my hard drive to the internet, or the other
way around. It gives me this error message: QUOTE An FTP error occured - cannot put form1.html.
Access denied. The file may not exist, or there could be a permission problem. Anyway, I know
that the file does indeed exist. I've opened it on my hard-drive... and it is there. But it

Whenver I go to download a cool website template, it always say "This website template was made with
Macromedia Dreamweaver". I have tried Dreamweaver from a free trial from www.adobe.com, and did not
