My Principal uses myspace But I think the reason why poeple use myspace is because it contains images, where memories and fun times can be looked back upon with ease. Also its a way to communicate with multiple friends at any given time. Really, I bet if myspace costed for a subscription people would still use it. This is because of its popularity witch is continously growing, gaining support by radio stations and music bands.

Meh i signed up when everybody started goin "OH HEY RAZOR U GOT MYSPACE?" i admit..it pissed me off..hence why i went to chek the whole thing out..and i must say i quite like it....its good for like...when u see a certain person one night thats your friends freind (a girl mabye and you like her for example)...so because shes ur freinds friend..they have each other added on myspace...so you go to ur myspace and find that person on his friends list and then u can contact them buy adding the,,, EASY FRIENDSHIP i personally think it should be age restricted tho.... theres just too much dumb people on the internet....despite all of the personal detail warnings people get (12 year olds etc).. and yet again sorry if u r 12 im just stating that its generally 12 year olds .
I think MySpace is a nice social website. I personally enjoy using it to stay in touch with friends from back home. Some people want to be social butterflies and add 10215421 friends, regardless of how many they stay in contact with. That's their personal choice, and you can make the choice to ignore them as well.
With these kindappings/rapings/any other act of crime related to information let out on MySpace...to be blunt, it's that kid's fault. No one is forcing them to give out their information. If they didn't want to listen to their parents/teachers/counselors/anyone's advice on giving out information on the internet... then you can't possibly blame the website. The website has an age requirement, it's the stupid kids who bypass the rules and then get themselves into trouble.
ok, i know myspace is a website like any other out there in the world, but what is it that people like about it so damned much? i mean a year and a half ago NOONE knew about it....and it has been the cause of many young ladies being picked up by these oldperverted men and being raped etc...lol before we had to worry about chat rooms....not anymroe its myspace they need to be worried about....about a week ago a 3rd grader asked me how to set-up a myspace account, and i was like pshh im not going to tell you, you shouldn't be on a site like that..lol but please tell me, why does everyone like myspace suddenly? i mean it seems to be the thing to have now adays, i know it has been going on for like 4-5 months now but still....

Yeah dude, myspace is totally boring man. It seems to attract lots of youngsters though who want to learn mor e about blogs since they are being mentioned everywhere now. I guess it's the closest thing to building a real website with your own domain. Myspace is now owned by EW Scripps a big media company from the States. They also own Shopzilla, Bizrate and Uswitch. Shopzilla is the best though out of the lot, or am I just saying that cos I work there? Probably.
And I used to worry about my child watching cartoons that depicted characters getting bombed or such and then returning to normal. I was worried that it would plant the idea that bombing or shooting people was not injurious.
I dont know if I can agree with that part.. even Looney Toons has violent things like that, but you don't see many people saying Bugs Bunny is bad for children.
Anyways, I guess it's like Terminal said.. it's not the site, it's stupid children. There are a billion different ways to get yourself kidnapped that have nothing to do with Myspace. My little sister uses sites like these, and even though she's 13, she knows better than to give out her personal info.
Parents snooping into their child's personal life, though, I'm a little iffy on. I was a good kid, and never got into trouble, but I still didn't want my parents poking into my web activities.. I dont want them reading my chat longs any more than listening to my phone convs; kids need privacy too ^^; And really, as much as parents watch their kids, if the kid wanted to do something bad, or was flat-out stupid, even if the parent watched the kid 24/7, they'd still manage to get themselves kidnapped while skipping school or something. The parents can't be everywhere, ya know? Give them some advice, then let them have their website.. ^^;
I really do not like Myspace and even though I have never been on the site before in my life it annoys me. I first found out about this from my older cousin. He keeps annoying me to sign up for it and I tell him that its pointless and if he really wants to express himself he should post on a forum or something. He never bothered me again. A few months later some kids at my school start using it. It is no big deal and is not effecting me. A few weeks later people are telling me to read all this stuff they printed off of their Myspace page. I said that I do not care about conversations with you and complete strangers so I just gave it back. Then we were researching for a project in our school's computer lab. I was the only one who was not on Myspace. Everyone was annoying me about how I do not have one and how its so awsome and no one got work done including me (even though I never accessed it). Finally the teacher complained and the school's IT tech finally blocked the site. I have no idea how one site you have never been on can cause you so much irritation but I guess I found it.
Seeing as how I'm one of the people that have to help people that have trouble with their personal information, I don't like being flooded with questions like "OMG SOMEONE KNOWS MY EMAIL" of course, that can only lead to bad things. MySpace should be more of an online dating site, because, as said above, many perverted people and freaks use it to find 'girlfriends' and things. I see it as a dating site, and it shouldn't be used by young people.

Unfortunately, there is now a MySpace FriendBot. I think you type in a word or two of interest and it automatically adds people with that interest. I had someone with a friendbot add me. I gave her one month to see how high her friends list went and it shot up by 70 people. That's when I knew she was a friendbot user and I denied her friend request.
Funny how only about two journals in allf of MySpace talk about it. Why? Because, it seems, most are too ashamed to admit they use it. Everyone wants to act and seem popular by having more friends on their page than they their friends do. Thats why I will only add someone if they have few friends, don't get friends very fast (sign of a friendbot user), or I know them personally.
Also, you can talk to friends on MySpace without having to go through the trouble of e-mailing and things like that. Plus, I managed to find one good friend that I lost contact of a few years ago and I got to "peep" on a relative that hasn't visited in forever. (I wanted to make sure that relative was doing OK since I haven't seen her in forever and she usually visits a local relative yearly.)
MySpace isn't so bad really.. it promotes a lot of bands and musicians and artists that would normally go unnoticed. I've found over 30 people I haven't talked to in 5+ years. My friend's girlfriend just got rich doing photography because of MySpace. As ridiculous as MySpace seems nowadays.. it's still doing some good.

We use this vent so gracefully without even thinking how it feels,but happily,this thingy cant feel
so its kinda alright.Ever been in a situation where the person in front of you is clearly using you

Just recently in my town an issue has come up that has my whole campus in a fluster. I was reading
my colleges news paper and right on the front page, first article, in big bold letters, "OUTDOOR
DRINKING GAMES MAY FACE A BAN" Ok, being a local to my town for the past 9 years and I am now also
a student, I have realized how biased this "News Paper" actually is. To begin with, the reason this

Hi everyone! This is just going to be one big rant cos i am so angry and i have to get it out or
ill explode! One of my best friends (who i also happen to have feelings for) has a boyfriend, now
thats a bummer on its own to me but it gets worse! Her boyfriend is an abusive (damn wish i could
swear), pathetic excuse for a "man". Me and all my mates are only 17 and so is he but hes so abusive
to her! Theyve been together for just over a year and as much as it upset me at first i got along
well with him becuase hes into computers etc and so am i so we had plenty to alk ....
I hate it! My teachers used to copy 800+ papers for dumb one-sided crossword puzzle/coloring
assignments. Who the hell does that... oh wait, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY TEACHERS. That's stuff
for elementry students. And there was always 500+ copies left. They only needed to copy like...
50-100 sheets. That caused a major paper shortage in the school, teachers had to bring in their
own. Serves them right. Stupid bubbleheads. It really ills me when people just scrape a perfectly
fine sheet of paper because they made a mistake the size of a quarter. I did that once by mist....
So we have The Vent, for people to complain. Well I think some people are complaining TOO much. I
see that there are some people that have more than three topics in there, and some of them could
probably be meshed together. I think that people should just have maybe 1 or 2 topics in there, one
of them could be off all their vents, like their family/friend/boyfriend/girlfriend/people at
work/school problems because i think those could very well be put together. And things that have to
do with something different could be in their other venting topics. But I just don't....

UPS (United Postal Service) and FedEx (not sure what that stands for) are the two major shipping
services here in the United States. On Friday, I ordered a new PocketPC, some extra flash memory,
and a flash memory-to-USB adapter from New Egg. I knew that, in order to get the package here on
time (I will be leaving for a trip early tomorrow morning and won't return until late Sunday
night), I would need to use next day shipping (since it takes awhile for the shipping info to clear

In my school division we take matyh on the internet, which you know isn't bad, I like Internet,
I like math. Best of both worlds! But when the teacher signs off for the day there is no getting
efficent help from him (there is always email) so as students we have been provided with textbooks,
and despite how much I like interent, I still prefer earning from the book (for math anyway). But
when things start saying obvously, that really bugs me. A text book should never say obvously,
