I am currently running Kubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn. Works pretty well apart from a problem causing it to not mount properly at boot... Anyway, here's what it looks like: [attachment=607:snapshot1.png] I haven't modified too much apart from changing the icon set and adding Superkaramba to get some desktop widgets going. KDE4 should include a 'plasma' system by default though hopefully, when it is released.

I use dual boot with windows vista and windows xp, xp being the primary one. I have used ubuntu and i liked it quite a lot. But there were simply too many issues for a non programmer like me.

I dual boot with Kubuntu and XP. XP remains my primary OS however I intend to switch to Kubuntu as soon as I become comfortable with it ( it's my first OS other than windows ). The only problem with linux is finding good enough replacements of softwares you use in windows (like Dreamweaver). I tried Vista(business edition) on a friend's laptop and didn't like it at all, especially since my current desktop looks better than anything Vista could offer. Here's a pic of my desktop:

I run Mac OSX Tiger on my iBook G4 which is my main computer. But at my parent's house I have a Vaio with XP (bleh) on it.  I made the wallpaper two days ago and it will be available on my website soon as I get it finished.

Desktop Icon Size

How and where does Windows XP SP2 modify the Desktop Icons for size? Compaq c300 Laptop running Win
XP SP2, and I just fired up the machine to find the Icons have increased in size and would like
tomhave them back to the small 16 px display size. surely these don't simply modify themselves?
Must be a setting someplace, but I can't seem to find it......

Project Looking Glass

Anybody heard of Project Looking Glass? It is a 3D Desktop environment from Sun Microsystems. It is
amazing. I have tried out a few 3D environments in the past and wasn't impressed but this looks
promising. It is an open-source project :) that will be available for Linux and Solaris systems.
It will obviously built with Java technology. There isn't much information about the project but
here is a link to the projects site. There are some screenshots and a video that is quite
