well, douglas adams fans would expect that of course. otherwise, they wont -- especially the younger generation. and it's a legitimate answer to the question, as everything else that came after my post. why? since there is no definite answer to the mystery of life's meaning, so no answer is wrong. don't tell me you have the CORRECT answer to the meaning of life?

I believe that the basic part of life is to live a life where you are proud of everything that you do. No matter if others say it is wrong or right, just do it. Anything at all. Even if it means you hurt others, do it. Just as long as you are prepared to pay the consequences. I have hurt people in the past and I payed my due to society and I am still proud I hurt them because it made me happy to defend my friends. So go out. Do something Anything, that makes you happy.

What is the meaning of life? One of the most controversial question of all times. My belief is that Life is just surviving and enjoy it. The most important thing about life, IMO is that people care for each other, helping each other and not be selfish. Wars is the only thing that is in the way for this philosophy (that is why I hate Bush, for starting pointless wars for so called "Weapons of Mass Destruction".)

The basic meaning in life is to, secceed and forfull your set goals. Also to learn the lessons in life and to succeed in school. After that get a good job, live life as it is, have a great time, and live your life to the max and the longest. Thats what I truley think.

I think we were put here on earth to discover something greater..something that can't be contained to a word..Like love, faith, and happiness. These things can't be described by just a word.. Love has to much power, to many levels..Same goes for the rest. We are placed on earth to touch another person like as guide or friend..Whether we know each other or not our existence in this world is connected to a bigger picture...

Lol, I wish this question was posed in my philosophy class.

What is the meaning of life? Well, that's a subjective question, obviously.
Each person has a "meaning of life" per se. To me, the meaning of life
is to be the best person you can be. Strive to reach your goals. Work hard. Enjoy the moments you have with your family and friends. Enjoy
life (I don't mean like partying 24-hours-a-day, I mean travelling and
that sort of thing). Be kind and helpful to others. Stand up for what is
right. This is what I believe is the meaning of life. Simple concepts I'd say.

life=> You really don't relize it's true meaning until you get older. You have to figure it out yourself, no one else can tell you what you're meant to do in your life. Everyone has a different meaning in life.
Natrually, I hear once you figure out the meaning in life, you're prepared to die. It sounds scary *shivers*

I think the meaning of life to to die. We are all going to die. Its the only thing we will all do, apart from eating, breathing, born and stuff.
