I found this file on my computer, in c:\windows\igator\trickler3103_pic_fs_dmpt_3103.exe, what it is?, is a virus?. I rename the file and never run again, but what i do?

Sounds like Gator-related spyware. I'd run Ad-Aware and any other spyware removal tools you might have lying around to see if there are any other parts lying around.

And be more careful about installing things.

Yes, always be on the lookout for free software, that requires you to "only" install this, or that... I hate ads, from the bottom of my heart... It seems to me it's all people to these days, thik of new ways to burry you with idiotic ads...

yup, sounds like adware/spyware to me. the scum of the earth in my opinion
The adds are getting quite clever though, i'll give the makers that. so like they make the add look like its in a frame, and the scroll abr is half down so if you were stupid you would try and drag the scroll bar, which means u got to the site
