| | More then 13 days back my site suddenly went off. So did Trap17 and my forums. For a while i thought you guys went out. Then a few days back you came back. May i just ask what happen. I lost alot of credits and need to get my site back up so i am very confused. Please tell me what happen thanks. |

Ubuntu 7.10 Boot Issues
why does this happen? (5) hey trapsters, a few months ago, i reinstalled my laptop because i noticed it was getting
considerably laggy. i first installed xp, however i didn't have the time to install ubuntu as
well (dual boot) until around about a week ago. for some reason, however, my ubuntu 7.10 takes an
awfully long time to boot. firstly, after the splash (ubuntu logo and loading bar), the common unix
printing system (cupsd) takes about 30secs - 1min to load. then, once typing in my username and
password, ubuntu goes through this very strange process of desktop switching before i actuall....

(3) hey guys thanks for sharing the differences and adavantages of trap17 over qupis but I have an
unfortunate news to share. About 2 days ago my hosting credits were about 3, but today when I check
it is -6 and my account is suspended. If hosting credits are the amount of days one can remain
inactive, then 2 days of inactivity for me would not have result in a -6 hosting credits. I hope the
admin can check my account and adjust the hosting credits accordingly.....

(6) my first date experience was too bad, because i don't have any idea what to do, i spended my
all night planning for my first date spesial, next day i have to arive 10 am at fastfood, but i woke

what will happen? (14) What exactly will happen if I put two very intense light together? Is it possible to make a big

Desktops Obsolete?
Will it happen? (15) I went out looking at the various systems earlier on, and I have realised the over-abundance of
notebooks being sold in contrast to desktops. With notebooks improving with each batch, and them
being considerably lighter, do you think that they will eventually replace desktops? And now there
are even notebooks which are considered desktop replacements. I saw a Vaio notebook, it was about
17 inches wide and looks exactly like a notebook. But of course it was very high-end and could be
compared to a normal desktop. The price though was really scary; S$6000+, and you ....

Help? (7) I used to be paranoid about viruses, protecting myself from them and such. My trial subscription to
mcafee had just ended (your probably thinking McAfee? WTF?) and i needed new antivirus. I am on
cable, but to be able to buy the computer im using now for so cheap, i had to pay for AOL for one
year. I decided that because of this, i might as well try their antivirus that comes with mcafee
free of charge. I downloaded it and installed it. I immediately noticed a slowdown in my systems
speed, but thought nothing of it because it usually happens when you only have 256 megaby....
Modern Day Movies
What happen to the good old days... (14) Ok, this is my first offical thread I'm posting, so hopefully I'm doing this right. Anyway,
this is a rant I've had for a few years now. Being a fan of horror movies, I tend to notice
things like set design, storyline, and just over all film value. I've been watching more modern
films and I've been wondering, "What in the world has happen to modern day movies?" They
don't even really build sets any more, just grab a CGI guy put your actors in front of a
green/blue screen and your good to go. I can understand for some sets, but not all of them. ....

anymore. When I about to load the savefile, the game always return me to the new game screen and it
