Basically all you have to say is your name, your jutsus (Gen, Tai, and Nin), any special abilities and maybe a bit about his or her backstory. this is my character:

Name: Nightmare also goes by Shadow. No last name
Jutsus: I think he would have Drunken fist style tai jutsu, Shadow shuriken tai jutsu, Shadow leaf dance. my nin jutsus would be; Air slicing blast, Armor of sand, Demonic soul stealing technique, Desert coffin and desert graveyard, Fire dragon flame blast, Grand fireball, phoenix fire, Chidori, Rasengan, Shadow clones, Water prison, Genesis of rebirth, desert avalanche, Shadow strangulation, third eye. and last but not least Gen jutsu; Bringer of darkness, Release, Illusion hramony
Special abilities: Nightmare has a Myangekou sharingan in one eye and an advanced form of the byakuugan in the other. Nightmare is also immortal to a point, Nightmare can only be killed by someone who has a byakuugan or Myangekou sharingan, and unlike orochimaru, nightmare doesnt need to transfer his soul to a new host every three years.
Background: When Nightmare was about 5 years of age his whole family was killed in a tragic explosion later to be found out that it was caused by Nightmare himself because of his emotions. If nightmare does not keep his emotions in check all hell could break loose and there would be nobody who could stop it. Although Nightmare would never have that problem because he doesnt feel anything, but Nightmare can release some emotion to boost his powers if he really needs to. The only person Nightmare actually has a slight fear of is Itachi, because itachi is most likely the only one strong enough who can kill him.

Hmmn... if it were just, "Think of whatever shinobi character you'd like to be," then it's gonna be pretty dull in here. After all, most people would turn out to be megalomaniacs who think that firepower is everything. You just said it, your character is pretty much immortal and can only be killed by Uchiha Itachi. In my opinion, the closer a character is to perfection, the more dull he/she is.

That is why Superman has emotions and weakness to Kryptonite; that's why Jean Grey has Scott Summers and Magneto has Charles Xavier. That's why Peter Petrelli, Claire Bennet and Adam Monroe can be killed by a severe injury to the head. It is the flaws that makes a character more human and, methinks, more interesting.

In game development, character developers are also wary about creating "imba", or imbalanced, characters, that is, a character that is practically immortal and all-powerful. This is why Protoss arbiters are not invisible, Terran siege tanks are slow and Zerg structures need to be built on the creep.

I'm not being a smart-*bottom* on somebody else's thread but don't you think a far greater challenge would be to describe your "dream" Naruto character with human limits

I'll probably post later on, after I've read other people's dream shinobi

Bloodline Trait: Senzo

Gender: Male

Age: 15

Height: 6' 2"

Village: No official village. His clan travels from village to village.

Ninja Rank: Special Jonin (Not yet a jonin, but too strong to be a chunin)

Bloodline Trait Description: Trait that allows shinobi from the ****eki clan to be able to relive various events that their ancestors have lived through. Most normal genin can use their chakra to see some of their ancestors weaker jutsus and less important experiences, but Kage level ninja of the clan can see almost every detail of most of their ancestor's lives! This trait allows the user to see mistakes made by ancestors and learn not to make the same ones, and they also might learn a few strategies along the way. This also makes it so that the shinobi don't normally work on learning jutsus, but learning how to control their bloodline trait, although if they want to they can make up their own jutsus, or learn new ones. There is also an ability to use the trait for an opposite use, to see into the future. But, because it takes quite a bit of the users chakra, and you can only see a couple of minutes into the future, Kage level ninja are normally the only ones who use it. The Senzo has some aftereffects as well. Whenever someone uses it their personality and chakra supply sometimes changes depending on who they see. It is hard to predict what will happen, so they are advised at a young age to practice at a safe place.

Description: Anaiga likes to wear lose t-shirts and loose, but not saggy, jeans. He is normally seen wearing a black jacket with a bolt of lightning, which is his clan's insignia, on the back unless he is in battle. The jacket, which is lined with chakra, is a gift given to a child when they reach the age of 10. It is lined with weights which, as soon as they're given to the child, altogether weigh 20 lbs. Every year the leader decides how much weight to add by a fitness test taken at every one of the ****eki clan's shinobi's birthdays and then adds it for the shinobi to build up not only physical strength, but spiritual strength as well. The jacket is only removed when the shinobi feels that he wants to take it off, which is rarely. Because Anaiga is fifteen years old his jacket now weighs over 900 lbs!

Personality: Anaiga's personality is hard to determine, because of how much he uses the Senzo. He could be joking arround one day and act completely quiet the next. This, along with the fact that his clan moves a lot, makes it hard for him to keep any friends, so he trains most of the time which has made him a special jonin.

Special Characteristics: He normally carries arround quite a few scrolls in case their is a chance for him to train.

Jutsu Affinity: Ninjutsu-50%; Genjutsu-0%; Taijutsu-50%

Elements: Lightning and Water

Skills/Specialties: Unlike most people in his clan, he has seen the past of other poeple from other clans. It has only happened a few times, but it has happened enough to figure how to do it at any time. Although he can only learn weaker jutsu, and it takes twice the amount of chakra to look into his opponent's history, than it does to look into his own ancestry. There is only one exception for the jutsu rule, which is a jutsu that he learned after 1 and a half years of training. The Chidori. Even if he can only do it once per battle. He is also extemely gifted in taijutsu. He has no talent for genjutsu whatsoever.

Jutsu: Senzo Utsushi No Jutsu (ancestral copy jutsu)- Jutsu in which he uses his bloodline trait to experience his ancestor's (or his opponents) training and use what they learned for a short time. Requires 15% chakra (may be more or less depending on what he is learning).

Chidori (takes 40% of his chakra. Can be combined with water prison jutsu to become stronger)

Water Style: Water Prison Jutsu (takes 10% of chakra)

Lightning Style: Thunder Cry Jutsu (takes 5% of chakra. Uses thunder to deafen the opponent temporarilly)

Ninja Art: Thunder Cloud Jutsu (uses both lightning and water chakra to create a lightning storm. Takes 18% of chakra, but can make lightning chakra stronger)

Ninja Art: Energy Clone Jutsu (creates in clone which, when touched, shocks the victim with however much chakra the user infused with the clone)

Hstory: Anaiga was born in Konoha where the Fourth Hokage blessed him by giving him knowledge that he told Anaiga's parents, "Would be found when he is ready." This is one reason that he trains so hard, because he is desperate to find out what knowledge was given to him. When Anaiga was 6 years old he met one of The Three Legendary Sanin from the leaf village, Tsunade, or as his father called her The Legendary Sucker. She gave him nothing really except for a few words, "So you're the runt of the litter huh, no wonder your father is so stressed out. He has to teach you." Those words, coming from someone as important as her, are one of the many reasons he trains harder than anyone else. About 6 years after that day, he was training, trying to see farther back, when he saw an image of the Nine-Tailed Fox and a shinobi in an orange jumpsuit. Then, he saw another shinobi in a blue t-shirt then it suddenly went to darkness. At first he thought it was just a fluke, but after it happened a few more times he realized he was special. And, after 3 more years of training, he is coming ever-closer to mastering his unique ability.

Background:Michael is also part of the Uchiha clan like Sasuke,but on the day of the massacre he was on a mission.He came back to find the entire Uchiha clan killed.Accept for 2 people.Madarra and Itachi.He is currently at the leaf village.He is a churning and became one at age 12.He has the Shibboleth(7 tailed badger)sealed inside of him but he sealed it inside himself.

Bloodline Trait/Ability: The Inara clans abilities are somewhat unknown. All that is know for sure is that the members of the clan can see into the near or distant future and see a opponents attack.
Personality: Kurai likes to work alone. She comes on a little rude, but once you get to know her and she gets to know you she becomes more friendly.

Description, Past, and Family: She is the only remaining member of her clan. Her parents and grandparents were murdered when she was a baby. She thinks of Naruto and Toya (a young boy from Kirigakure) as her younger siblings and the Mizukage treats her as if she were his own flesh and blood daughter. Like Naruto she has a demon sealed within her body, a wolf demon. Kurai has learned to control the wolfs chakra and that gives her more power than is thinkable. Along with having tremendous power she is very skilled at taijutsu and ninjutsu. She often wears a torn black tube top, a red mid-thigh skirt ad fishnets on her right arm. Her one true draw back is her love for Kakashi. When she was on a mission to take a message to the Hokage she ran into a bit of trouble and Kakashi showed up to help her and wound up saving her life. Ever since she has had very strong feelings for him.

Weapon: A large sword that she calls Ichi (passed down to her from her father), a med kit, a string of about 25 kunai around her waste, and two scrolls (the scroll of death and the scroll of life)

Jutsu: Summoning Jutsu- when used on the scroll of death it summons Minaru, a giant snake that is beyond the control of Orochimaru, and when used on the scroll of life it summons Peach, a cat that has been faithful to the Inara clan since the begining of time.
She can learn and perform most any type of jutsu known. The only one she hasn't and refuses to master is the rasengan. (The reason is unknown)

Element: Prefers Fire and Water style jutsu

Special Jutsu: Eye Sight Jutsu -this is the jutsu that she uses to see what her enemies are seeing but she mostly uses it to spy or see what her friends are talking about...(this jutsu is only present at her clan)

Mitsuki is a very shy and beautiful girl...Her attitude is very much alike sasuke but can control her temper and much friendlier. She's best friends with Sakura and know's how to heal. The clan that she came from have a very particular thing that mostly knowbdy knows if she could see the enemies jutsu she can easily figure out a way to counter it...Sometimes she uses the enemies attacks against them by taking away they're anergy and doubles it. She can control the chakra's of other ninjas by just using her own...Her clan was destroyed because her clan was helping the uchiha clan to defend themselves but failed to do it...She was the only one who survived amongst them beacause she used a shield barrier to protect her...From that day she swore revenge on whoever destroyed her life but is hiding it.

My Dream Naruto Character..

Name: Sora Kazumiha
Kekkai Genkai: Dojutsu -Death Gaze-, If you stare into her right eye, it destroys your brain cells, and you eventually die.
Country of Birth: Land of Lightning
Story: At age 5, both parents killed. Wondered into Konoha. Brought to Hospital. Raised as fine Leaf Village kunoichi.

Summon: Sora can summon a giant Dragon named Tatsuyi.
Chakra element: Lightning
Jutsu: Rasengan Nagashi (Her own invention, after being taught the original Rasengan by the 4th), Devastruction (Send a wave of energy and burns everything in it's path. Takes up a lot of chakra and takes 22 years to perfect), Medical Jutsus.

Personality: Calm, Genius (very very strategic, just think of a smarter Shika), Fast, Thinks of others, Very protective.

I've adored "Naruto" from the beginning. I've been designing my own characters ever since it started. ^-^
Anyways,

Name: Namikaze Soiru Lyn

Gender: Female

Age: 13

Height: 5' 5"

Village: Kinkazegakure (North Wind); Konohagakure (Leaf)

Ninja Rank: Chunin

Description: Lyn likes the colors orange and brown because they best represent her personality and favorite season, Autumn. She wears her headband around her neck, much like Hinata does. Her shirt is form-fitting, but easy to move in. It looks somewhat like a short kimono. It's orange, with brown and grey "honeycomb" like designs. She also wraps a brown ribbon around her waist. Underneath she wears a top like shikamaru's, for protection. Her right arm is bandaged, and you'll find out why in the history. On both arms she wears arm cuffs (like sasuke's), but their a bit more colorful. At the top of the cuff is orange that wraps around, and sinks into a triangle. Then black outlining, and the rest is brown. She also wears black gloves (like kakashi's minus the plate) on both hands. She wears a black, short, pleated skirt (with shorts underneath). Her right leg is also bandaged (wait for history). Also on her right leg is on orange cuff.

Personality: Lyn is of course, Naruto's cousin. So as you can imagine, she acts somewhat like him. Lyn is open and accepting. She loves to have company, because she has been without it for so long. She's kind, smart, funny, and courageous. She leads her squad and always carries a smile. She may seem carefree on the outside, but inside looms a darkness she cannot yet control. In battle, Lyn still smiles, but its more of a smirk. Lyn never gives up, and her nindo is to "fight when you're weak, stand when you fall, and believe when everything is immoral."

Special Characteristics: Lyn is a leader no matter what she does. In everything, people look to her for ideas. She also has a massive habit of pushing herself. She trains hard, going beyond her limits. She does it so she can prove to herself that she isn't an outcast, she belongs, even with a demon inside her.

Jutsu Affinity: Ninjutsu-44%; Genjutsu-1%; Taijutsu-55%

Elements: Wind

Skills/Specialties: Lyn specializes in wind abilities. She does have many of Zaku and Temari's techniques, but she has also developed some of her own. She also has a demon, Reim. Reim is a wind demon (female) who takes the form of a wren, human, and hidden beast. Reim provides almost everything the Kyuubi provides for Naruto.

Jutsu:

Dust Wind-Lyn creates a sphere of wind which she forms into a wave. By sending toward the enemy, it gathers dust and materials that add extra damage to the opponent. It's both offense, and defense. Some effects may be blindness of the opponent (depends on the debri that was picked up)

Wind Blade-Lyn summons a katana and combines her wind abilities. The wind takes the form of the blade, and Lyn goes for a frontal assault, causing both the sword and wind to slice the enemy.

Summoning Technique- Like other ninja who use this technique, Lyn signs a blood contract with the animal she is summoning, then with the correct seals she can summon the animal. Because her demon is a bird, she chooses to summon birds most of the time.

Ninja art, Sickling wind- This technique needs a fan to be performed, thus, Lyn summons her fan. She waves the fan to create the wind wave and then utilizes her own chakra to give the wind sharpness which can cut through most materials.

Dancing Crow- This technique is a Taijutsu that Lyn practiced on her own. She developed it from watching Rock Lee and Neji. Lyn combines speed, with bursts of chakra she gives from her hands, and "dances" around the enemy. Using the speed, she moves swiftly, using gentle fist, to penetrate the opponents chakra points.

Wild Wind- Another taijutsu. Lyn creates shadow clones, and develops the attack to look like Lions Barrage. She kicks the opponent into the air, jumps up, delivers a few blows using a gentle fist like technique, and finishes with a kick in the gut (the kick is combined with a steady flow of chakra and wind to her leg, causing the attack to be more painful and deadly) , that sends the opponent downward at great velocity.

Hstory: Lyn was born in Kinkazegakure, though she now lives in Konoha. Her mother was the Kinkazekage of the village Lyn was born in. Her mother's life was claimed by Reim, who had attacked and destroyed the village. Lyn's mother sealed Reim away in Lyn. The seal is found on her right shoulder, and Lyn bandages the right side of her body, to hide the marks left by the demon and seal that keeps Reim inside Lyn. Lyn's mother told Lyn she wanted the best for her, and told her the demon would make her strong. Lyn's father was able to flee from the village with Lyn's sister, Miaku. Miaku was the one that everyone loved in the family. She was strong, smart, and fast. Lyn was none of those things at the time. Since that day, Lyn was treated as a monster, and no one talked to her, looked at her, or came near her. She trained and trained until she was 11. She traveled to Konoha at age 13, and began as a genin there. She met Naruto and the others, and began to fit in again. Lyn was even able to find her brother, whom she never knew about. Everyone saw her as a great person, but they didn't learn about her demon until the chunin exams, when Reim was able to surface, and give Lyn chakra and great power.

Yeah...Well that's only one of my characters. She was based off of me. Her inspiration was Naruto, Sasuke and Gaara. I have other characters. I have at least one character for each of my closest friends.

Rikiaru has not been touched in his life.He has the sand demon. He killed gara and took it.LOL!

Description: long black hair, blood red eyes, she wear her head band on her neck, she wear a black with red blouse and fishnets sleeve, and a short skirt with legins underneath, and black ninja sandals

Personality: Quiet, cheerful,cold-hearted (sometimes), sarcastic

History: She is the heir of her clan, she can be sometimes mean when they get her mad, she is the only jounin of the team and soon to be anbu, she is the strongest of all and has two special justus that no one can copy or do

Clan the nagasaki they are not known to very much people in the leaf only to high ranking anbu black ops members and the hokage's they make technological advances in weapons and justu's some of there secrets not even known to the hokage other villages want to take there weapons and justu's for there own evil ways the nagasaki's are the smartest people in the world.And they can be very tough to beat.They are known for always carrying heavy weapons and custom made chakra armor

Secret techiques barrage souchiro appear in front of his opponent kick's them in the air and unleashes machines gun blast and laser shot's and rocket's. Flame blade just like you lighting blade but with flame in his mechanical hand. And sniper wolf he dashes toward his oppenent and slides around them then tosses them in the air but body slam them down to and disspear's using his cloaking device and goes over and hides with his deployable sniper rifle he takes down his oppenent with a shot to the heart. Double flame blade flame blade but with two hands

And summoning thunder dragon it has the ability to unleashe lighting in a deadly way and can deploy shield's

Weapons rocket launcher machine gun linear launcher sniper rifle double katana's claymores and grenades and backpack capable of emmiting chakra disrupter

Traps hides claymore or grenade radomally on battlefield backpack capable of removing from souchiro and blowing up on his oppenent and dirupting chakra unable to use if his oppenent tries it can stun him
And katana combination does a 6 hit combanation

Weakness genjustu can distract him and lose his train of thought

Strength weapons technology and his hit's can send his oppenent flying

Pesonality very witty calm but rarely every get's distracted but it can happen that genjustu can distract him so maybe one and a while he can break out of it
