I use Opera 9.2. I like it's tabbed browsing. Comfortable navigation. And easy to use. It's friendly user interfaces. I have installed any widgets on it, and all the widgets are working properly. It's includes an internal TORRENT downloader. No TORRENT software required if I use Opera.
Used to use Opera, but now i use Firefox. maybe since i like it cleaner and a bit easier to use. Also, some of their features are be compared as the same.
Firefox is the best in the whole world <3. I've never had any problem with the browser at all, other then when they updated it and the Ctrl + S feature didn't work for forums, which was just an easy fix through the about:config settings.
If you are reading this congrats, you passed my test. You see I had a theory here on trap. There are a TON of pointless threads like this one that people only post on to get credits. Nobody reads each other's posts and everybody knows that so it pretty much turns into a spam fest. I edited my original post to include this extra paragraph and I want any member or admin who finds this post to PM me. instead of adding this paragraph I could have easily pasted a whole bunch of random text and got a ton of credits for this! And nobody would notice because nobody has the patience to read through 53+ pages of content!!! So I want to see if this had been actually true and sombody in this thread edited their post to be nothing but coppied material or just random words to spam how long it would take for admins to notice!
I edited my post to this on 9/26/07. Here was what my original post said:
I personally use safari as my primary browser. The first version had a ton of bugs, I know, but apple is doing everything they can to make safari bug free. It is already better than the mac version of firefox. I don't think the coders who ported ff over to mac cared to much because there are a TON of bugs. Whenever safari doesn't work right and i'm forced to use a different browser i use camino. Its a version of mozilla that is specifically for mac, and doesn't have any bugs when compiling html.
Firefox has one bug that really annoys me, which is if you have a flash object, and you set the background to transparent, it doesn't do it! Doesn't work at all. Just makes the background of the flash white. It works in every other browser except the mac version of ff. Opera is another browser nobody cared if the mac version worked or not. Every table on every single website is f'ed up...
As you know Microsoft released Internet explorer 7.0 few months ago, Microsoft claim their new browser has many improvements. Although Microsoft Internet explorer 7.0 has significant security improvements, but Microsoft Internet explorer 7.0 does not fully protect users from miscreant Web sites. Because these sites use some scripts to exploit security holes. With scripting code (such as JavaScript), they can perform drive-by installations of spyware or Trojan horse programs.
Recent test of Microsoft Internet explorer 7.0’s Phishing Filter by researchers found that the Phishing Filter caught 68 percent of the phishing web sites that the researchers threw at the browser. In spite of above I currently use Microsoft Internet explorer 7.0
I currently use IE7 as my main browser, why? Because I'm used to it and the majority of websites are designed towards IE standards (sad I know). The browsers I use from time to time (other than IE) is Opera, Firefox, K-Meleon and Lynx.
WAT!?!?!?. doesnt anyone here use the best web browser ever..... MOZILLA FIREFOX!!!! i think it blows away any other web browser. tried opera but too much stuf and too complicated. i like mozilla b/c its fast, has tabs, kewl skins, keeps it simple and also it is available for linux too. DONT use IE its the worst and to much popups. and its VERY slo. anyone agree???
I use Firefox alright, just not as a main browser; it has a deserved reputation of being a resource hog. Opera too complicated? I guess it could be, but just as well firefox can be; they both fucntion with added extensions and such.
As for popups I tell IE7 to block without discrimintation and a rarely get a popup. Granted I don't go gallavanting about questionable sites, and yes, I have to tell it when I do want a popup but thats fine. At least I know the page I'm looking at is appearing as it should.
I preffer Internet Explorer 7.(Microsoft rules! ) I never used FireFox so I cant really say if it is good or not. Netscape?-It is dead already. Opera?-Nah,I just dont like this browser. Crazy Browser?-never heard about such browser.
* Tabbed browsing, a faster alternative to multi-window browsing. o When you open a link in a new tab, you can continue reading or clicking links in the original tab while the linked page loads. o Unlike new browser windows, new tabs open instantly. o You can quickly open a link in a new tab by Ctrl+clicking or middle-clicking the link. o You can "undo" accidentally closing a tab. * Control. Firefox blocks unrequested pop-ups and never allows web pages to create hard-to-close full-screen windows. Firefox gives you options to prevent web sites from resizing and focusing windows. * Security. Malicious web sites can never install spyware without your permission. *BLEEP* in peace. * Privacy. Everything you might want to clear in order to cover your tracks -- cookies, cache, download history, history -- is in one place in Options. Firefox even provides a "Clear All" button to clear all of this information quickly. * Extensibility. The Pornzilla bookmarklets and extensions can improve your porn surfing experience far beyond what any browser vendor would dare. * New windows open quickly. * When you download a file and Firefox asks you to select a download filename and location, it starts downloading the file while it waits for your response. * You can save video clips quickly by Alt+clicking the (thumbnail) link to the video clip. If you save video clips this way, Firefox won't even prompt you for a filename (unless you select "Ask me where to save every file" in the "Downloads" section of Firefox's Options). * You can control whether videos are displayed in the browser window or saved in the "Downloads" section of Firefox's options. * File > Save As... works for movies being displayed by the Quicktime plug-in. * All visited URLs are shown in location bar autocomplete, so you can quickly see which galleries and which images you've seen within a given site. * While using Firefox, you won't accidentally set a porn image as your desktop wallpaper. (Firefox has a "set as wallpaper" feature, but it asks whether you want the image tiled or stretched, and the dialog has a "Cancel" button.) * Firefox has an image-rendering library called "libpr0n" and a cute, unofficial mascot named Firefox-ko. Firefox grew out the Mozilla Suite, whose codename is "Seamonkey" (see monkey). One of Mozilla's slogans is "free the lizard".

Ok, so if you haven’t already come to the conclusion that FireFox is the best browser, here’s another reason to switch from that security hole riddled flimsly-*bottom* Internet Explorer that you’ve been using,
QUOTE(copied material 2)
Internet explorer 7 is bloatware and slows not only browsing the web - but opening directories on a drive is slow it takes so long to figure out IE's options that after 1/2 an hour you lose the will to live. Theyve dumbed it down so much and hidden the proper functionality beneath a thick layer of BS
Firefox is created by people with brains, IE is created by people with none, Interesting to note that Microsoft addressed a DRM issue quicker than they handled a security issue in their products, firefox runs Runs on Linux, Windows and OpenBSD, I downright HATE what M$ have done to the computer industry.

I came across this browser by a fluke chance when I was checking out articles at PC World, and from
what I remember from the article this is a very big name browser in Japan and they wanted to expand
it to the international market. What really caught my eye is that they want to get 5% of the
international market in the browser wars in the next couple of years. To give a background story to
this browser, it was developed in 2005 in both English and Japanese and after 3 years it gain some
popularity in the international community and so now they are trying to enter thems....

Out of a fluke I found this software on a tutorial website, and basically your designing for IE by
opening several different versions of IE is over. There was a IE software that haslip mention,
however, I didn't like the fact it would cuase the browsers to crash. So I found bump into this
by accident, and the rest is history, interestingly enough if oyu have Office 2007 installed, you
have the option to chance skins based on what Office 2007 has. As for what versions this program
supprts is Internet Explorer 5.5, 6, 7, and even 8b1. It aslo has an update button so....
some websites are asking you to download their toolbar from a useful one like google toolbar to
harmful one like websearch toolbar and some provide service only if their toolbar is installed
(example: mega upload). QUOTE whats browser toolbar? Third-party toolbars for browsers are
best known for adding functionality and ease-of-use options to the end user. While the browser
itself handles basic browsing navigation (Back, Stop, Reload, etc) using its own toolbars, external
toolbars often add additional functionality to browsers (additional search fields, form-fil....
No seriously, I've been using Firefox since 0.x releases. I loved it. Every release, despite
having no huge features, was a great update. Version 3, however, totally messes everything up. Its
default interface is ugly. And no Home button, really ??? (ps. I kno i can drag it back from the
bookmarks toolbar but still, its stupid). The address bar search thing. I liked the concept, but I
am so used to the old way, this actually distracts me, I don't want to search my history
everytime I type a new address. Plus the slide out is huge now making the whole thing feel t....
Now that 2007 is almost over with news of Netscape's demise in just two months, and the major
players in the browser wars are set in stong; Microsoft's Internet Explorer 6 & 7, Firefox 1.x.x
& 2.x.x and Beta 2 version of Firefox 3, Opera 9.x, and Safari 3.x. Lets just see where the % point
are for the major players. Growth Chart So as you can tell both browsers IE7 and FF2 started
roughly the same, 24% for IE7 and 25% for Firefox 2, but interestingly enough they ended the year
roughly the same but with firefox winning by 1% at 37% while IE takes a nice 36....
Hi guys, Can anyone tell me what is the main deference between IE and Mozilla Firefox ? I have been
using IE (version 6.0) for one year but from now on I have decided to use Firefox. I just want to
know as to what Mozilla can do which Internet Explorer can not. Thanks! ....
Hi Guys, I'm trying to test a site for a client who doesn't have broadband. She has told me
that it's taking too long to download. I'm currently on broadband 2 so for me the page
loads in under a couple of seconds. Is there a way I can emulate 56k speeds on my browser so that I
can see how long would take to download. Cheers.....
test your browser for security holes: http://bcheck.scanit.be/bcheck/ This checks for the most
commonly occurring security vulnerabilities in the major browsers. In total there are some 40 tests
and may take a long time to finish. I have run this test on 4 browsers: 1)IE 7 : 0 vulnerabilities
(but the browser goes crazy, opening several windows and applications) 2)IE 6 : 1 medium risk (the
browser goes crazy like IE7) 3)Firefox 2.0.0.3: 1 medium risk (i think some plugin might have caused
this as some others have had different results) 4)Opera 9.2: 0 vulnerabilities ....
Currently on version 0.2 with 0.3 in development Swift is on the cutting edge of web browsing
technology. Swift utilizes apple's webkit to bring you KHTML which is widely considered the best
rendering technology. Not to mention Swift is free to use. Swift is a very lightweight browser and
soon plans to implement it's own adblocker. Get swift here. Disclaimer: Swift is still in
development stages. If you are looking for a fully functional watered down web browser get firefox

Maybe you have already heard about the Opera browser and maybe some are already using it now. But
for some that don't have any idea on what it's about, well let me do the honors... Opera is
a browser. You can download it on Opera.com anyways, what i like about this browser is that you can
easilly download nice looking opera skins for free. Aside from that, it has BitTorrent---You
don't need a separate BitTorrent application to download large files. Simply click a torrent
link and start the download.-- it means that if you're downloading, you won'....
There are battles between different browsers for a long time now and it all began when netscape and
microsoft started the war;) First is now almost forgotten and the second one survived and is today
fighting mostly with Mozilla, Firefox and Opera. Each of those has many fans which will say that
his browser is the best! But WHICH IS REALLY THE BEST??? On the page HowToCreate they tried
to answer that question as they were comparing the most popular browsers for Linux (Firefox,
Mozilla, Konqeror, Opera, Epiphany), Mac OS X (Safari, Opera, OmniWeb, IE, iCab, Fir....
Hey guys, Lemme know what you think abou the Mozilla Firefox browser. I personally think it out
runs Microsoft Internet Explorer mainly cos of the convenience of having all the windows in one main
