There is a word censor in effect on the Trap17. If the 'swear words' are acceptable to the Word Censor, chances are that the expression would be fine, however, if the Word Censor alters the word, we would ask that you change the expression. Post the expression as a test case in the Test Forum to see if the Censor picks up on it.
Use the Report button to have a Moderator delete the Test Topic when you are finished.
Although there are exceptions to rules, in this case swearing in sigs and avatars are against those rules so it would be a good idea to remove those words on this forum since this is a professional hosting site and professional forum with very young people on here. Since swearing is not allowed in the shoutbox or in the forums, having those words in your sigs and avatar would be breaking the same rules.
Dude you don't have to think that much about your avatar or signature.... just write what you want and it'll turn it ok. But I would try to keep swear words or dirty jokes and stuff out of my sig as I want to keep my sorta still good name the way it is... that's just me man, do what you want and you'll turn out ok
Why would you wanna swear? unless your pissed off at someone, there is no reason to swear. I say to swear on a sig or avatar is ghetto, but some may think it is acceptable. I would consider, not to swear because its a random useless thing to do. if you don't want the swear word in it you can probable ask someone to edit for you to make it looks like its part of the background or something.
I posted a topic in the "Webhost Review" part of the site. I forgot that it was reserved for Level 1
members and higher and my post didn't show up. However, I still got 11 points for it (it was a
REALLY long post, and I currently have 19.47). What happens now? Is it possible for me to delete the
topic? Will I get points again if I post it once I become a level 1 member? I just don't want to
cheat the system, that's all.......
I noticed that members emails are displayed in the free web hosting requests forum, isn't that a
security issue, doesn't that make it easy for spammers to get users emails ??....

Just a few questions guys. 1. When/if i get my hosting, many sites dont last long. Can i trust this
service 100%? 2. I know it says no adds. Will it stay like this? 3. Can i upgrade my account at
any time? Please do not take these questions in offence it's just i want to be really carefull
with freehosts. As some people ( freehosts) are only up for like 6 months then they go. And leave

credits by posting. How much? Is it a fixed number per post or is it related to number of
characters,words or lines. Does the content affect the number of credits awarded? Do replies give

If you get a free account with Trap17 it says no ads as long as you are active at the forums, I have
questions: - I have a tumor in the heart, it may make me all of a sudden drop out for a few weeks?

We are an all-volunteer, start-up organization, just constructing our site now. We're currently
using another free host, and have a number of problems, including: a. our current host has blocked
certain IP addresses and words as a result of recent spam/phishing attacks. We get no notice of the
words/sites blocked. What happens is that if our members post on our forum any of these links or
words (paypal is one -- so we can't have a link on our site for fundraising -- any banking or
financial site; the word "proxy", the list goes on ...), it blows the thread. b....

Ok, I'm going to start off by asking a question to OpaQue and the mods here at Trap 17. Before
you read this this isn't trying to down this site or trying to tell you guys how to run this.
I'm just wondering, however, why the Entertainment forums and sub-forums, and also the Life-Talk
forums and sub-forums isn't included in gaining credits, unless I'm mistaken, but if
there's no post count then that would mean you don't get credits right? I think that would
help the site, because more posts will probably be made, because this gives users deepe....
I shot a glance at the trap17 hosting account form and I saw there were some personal questions,
questions that I, and I'm sure others, do not feel comfortable answering. Things like where one
lives and age, and I do not see how this information benefits trap17 or in anyway correlates to free
hosting. However, I may be wrong, I was just wondering, do I have to disclose that specific of
information? I do not appreciate being put into uncomfortable situations like this, so I am

Hi, everyone, I've just got a couple things I need some clearing up, I'm not too acquainted
with how domains and hosting configure to each other and whatnot. 1) If lets say I register a top
level domain www.topleveldomain.com or whatever from any domain provider (godaddy, yahoo..), could I
configure that to my trap17 free hosting account (I don't have one at the moment)? Or with
trap17 hosting account am I limited only to subdomains? 2) How many hosting credits do you lose if
you do not post one day? I'm just wondering for the future, to make sure befor....
