your website. Just to be on the safe side I'm not affiliated with them on any way, just liked
their tool and thought it would be a good idea to let you know as it was pretty useful for me. They
have several applications, all of them have a free version, that should be enough for a personal

What Can Cause Some Browsers Not To Load My Website?
- (6)
Hey everybody, recently I have noticed that the site is going down (doesn't load) ALOT! I
don't know what's wrong, I thought it's from the server or something but I don't
think so. And sometimes it doesn't load on Firefox and/or Internet Explorer but it loads on
Opera. When it doesn't load it gives me 502 error (server not available). So what's wrong
and what should I do? Make your topic very specific. You wouldn't want to present your topic
regarding Trap17 hosting when in fact it's about browser related issue. ...

The Future Of Web Browsers
- Where do we go from here (6)
Browsers are probably the single most desktop application that evolved the most in the past few
years. Up until Internet Explorer 6, browsers were simply browsers, an application that browses
webpages. Indeed the internet itself hadn't changed that much. Then Firefox came and changed
everything. But, the web has changed a lot too, enough to warrant a new version no. but browsers
havent truly caught up yet. Sure Firefox, with all its extensions can integrate with various web2.0
services, but its pretty superficial and flaky. We are expected Internet Explorer 8, and ...
Sound Notification In Browsers Not Working
- (2)
On my XOOPS support site, www.warpigw2.com, I have a web based live help application to communicate
with my customers. When someone clicks on the Live Help image and enters their information it is
suppose to give a sound notification that someone is waiting. It used to work fine, and I do not
know where to look to fix it. It is a *.wav file, so pretty standard. It works on my windblowz box
so I know it is not the application. I have tried in both Firefox 2 with the mplayer plugin (it
plays fine in mplayer itself) and in konquerer, neither one will give me a notificatio...

How To Control Popups In Ie And Other Browsers.
- (2)
If you really hate popups - who doesn't - then there is a very easy way to disallow them - no
need to download anything at all. Let me show you how to control your popups, and not let your
popups control you. Internet Explorer Users: 1. Under the tools menu, go to popup blocker popup
menu and turn on IE's popup blocker if it isn't already 2. Again, go to the same menu, but
go to popup blocker settings 3. Under the filters frame, change the level to high. 4. You will now
have a popup free browsing experience. If you need to open up a popup on a place such as...

Browsers And Css

(This looks like the best place to post this.. /unsure.gif' border='0'
style='vertical-align:middle' alt='unsure.gif' /> ) What do other users do to
'work-around' the differences in displaying CSS attributes in different browsers? Mainly
Internet Explorer which doesn't fully conform to CSS unlike the Mozilla browsers and where older
browsers like Netscape 4.x which have only minimal CSS implementation. On my website, now that I
have converted it to PHP, I use a couple PHP 'if' statements to detect the user's

When You Design A Website
- how much do you consider older browsers (11)
Basically what the topic title says. When you design a website, how old browsers do you go out of
your way to support? How small screens? Right now I only have IE6 available and I'm hoping
things are working in IE5.5, but frankly I don't care about anything older than that, in fact,
I'm starting to not care very much about IE5.5 anymore. I really don't care about NN4 and
older. I guess it comes down to IE6, and recent versions of Mozilla and Opera for me. I might add
extra things for Mozilla and Opera, who understand more CSS than IE does, but my site ...
