Warcraft Iii And Frozen Throne - yeah I finally bought it

Well I have had Warcraft III since it came out, but I finally bought Frozen throne yesterday and I must say it is an awesome game. I haven't even half finished it but the GFX and the new units kick so much ass.

I've got Warcraft III but I haven't got frozen throne...yet, I'm just considering about whether I should buy it, or buy some other game thats coming out soon.

I have Warcraft 3 also but never played frozen throne. Im thinking about buying it but im not sure. Just bought Hlaf Life 2 a week ago so... im busy atm

I always play human in the game and I don't think the new hero they add to the game is really appealing to me. The game is already too complicated with units (say the neutral units that you can hire) and upgrades. Given the limitations of RTS games, the units are often not used to their power.

I have got Warcraft 3 : ROC (Reign Of Chaos) and Warcraft 3 : TFT (The Frozen Throne), I bought them when they released

I stopped playing (because I have stop playing at video games

) but when I played, I was addicted to the Custom Maps on Battle.Net, so cool and there were so many maps

But there is so much noobs... They always leave at the begin of these games

I never owned Warcraft III or the Expansion, but I borrowed it from a friend... definitely the Frozen Throne is a worthwhile purchase in my opinion...

I'm still not really a fan of Warcraft III though, I like big armies, and less micromanagement, more macromanagement. Having a unit population limit at 90 (or 100), when units usually take two slots, means I usually don't get the huge armies I like to have. Also the importance of Heroes.... but anyhow - that's all personal preference, and I have to say it's great to play, especially with the expansion.

i agree with cool_freaker, i prefer big armies and war craft 3 doesnt have that, the hero idea was good but the game got too dependant on the survival of the hero and that started to get boring but the hero was even more emphisized in frozen throne. personally i prefer the old war craft 2 and expansion.

hey me too my online buddies in like august who played age of mythology started playing warcraft so i bought roc and tft from my friend and then i played the quick game and i sucked.........alot but then i got used to it

This is one of my favorite games. When I stopped using my computer for gaming I kept this game and still play it, sometimes. Will the make another one, or will they continue to make WoW. I think that warcraft is better then WoW, so I really hope they do.

What!!!! Actually, I had this exact situation when my friend forced me to buy WCIII ROC and then tried to convince me to buy TFT. I wanted to buy it because my friend always played it and saw his TFT Icon when i was on my ROC account. So, I got out and bought the game. Ofcourse I was a ROC player and when I first started playing TFT, I thought many people were far too skillful than me that I kept on continuing to play WCIII ROC. Then I don't remember how my transition to WCIII TFT too place

and wow after some practice, I think that ROC is a horrible game

. I find it too imbalanced because it's mostly creeping to lvl 6 then attacking. TFT is harder to lvl so you start fight ing right away. I'm only lvl 12 right now due to reset but if anybody wants to play me, just ask

WCIII's World Editor is very good, and Frozen Throne only makes it better. I like TerranUp16's maps, as they are quite good. He makes both of my favorite two maps:

-Balance Wars Beta F
-WinterMaul: Remade Beta A

Clan PMM's Troll Wars: Uprising campaign that they are making looks really cool as well (http://terrok.trap17.com has some cool screenshots from it)

Oho, we have some w3 fans here

This one of 2 my favorite games, I started to play normal games in March this year, but I am playing customs more then a 2 years and my favorite custom game now is ofc DotA.
Soon there will be WCG in Singapure, tell us some of ur predictions. My favorite player is 4K.Grubby and I guess he will be first on WCG. I am looking very often replays and I am trying to stay in touch with w3 scene in world. If there's some other fans around, we could make nice disccusion here

If u have accounts on Bnet, we could arrange some meeting and play some good DotA or any other mode for this fantastic game, what do u think ?
