It seems that boys are lagging behind girls in terms of education, most of the stuff I've read seems to indicate that boys ("as a group") are about a year and a half behind girls of the same age, in terms of their academic accomplishments.

Boys motors idle a lot faster than girls' do on average. Watch a group of kindergarten children for a while. See who is sitting still and who isn't. Mostly, it will be boys who aren't. Good teachers acknowledge that difference, and deal with it. Children can learn when they're not sitting still.

There are innate differences between boys and girls. Boys mature more slowly than girls, yet the PC school system can't acknowledge that fact and have boys enroll in school at a later age.

Young children need time for physical activity. They will beyond a doubt suffer minor injuries due to active play, but will be far healthier than children who aren't allowed time to just be children.

Boys especially need to engage in physically active games. Your school principal may encourage you to have your son do his homework as soon as he comes home. I think that is wrong. Children should be out riding bikes and playing games while they can. They can do homework when it's too late to play outside.

There is NO question that the male gender is in trouble these days - partly becase boys are not allowed to be boys (and I don't mean that in a "I'm going to poke your boobies" sort of way).

But the feminist agenda is something along the lines of "Boys should be socialized to behave more like girls and girls should be more free to be themselves." And this is causing problems with the development of boys.
