QUOTE HANOVER, Germany--Robots that can mow the lawn, a webcam that can improve your dating prospects and a diamond-encrusted USB memory stick that lends computing a bit of "bling" were among the new gadgets starring at the world's biggest high-tech fair Friday. The CeBIT in the northern German city of Hanover bills itself as a serious event by and for IT and telecommunications professionals. The new robots displayed in CeBIT this time... watch out... NEC Japan had a mini-robot with built-in cameras and microphones that is capable of recognizing people using biometric clues and also addressing them, nice showoff. Electrolux showed off a robot lawnmower that can cut the grass and return itself to the charging station to have food Infineon developing an electronic carpet that wirelessly navigates a robot to vacuum and can even direct the machine to spots it missed nice job. A Taiwanese company Asiamajor has developed a webcam that can make users more attractive than they are cool for Internet dating. Its said to removes blemishes and give users a sun-kissed tan or creamy white skin. Enjoy CeBIT till Wednesday...

Wow, I wish I studied robotics. It looks like a very fun field. Just imagine, you could build anything you want to make it do anything you want. I would like to own a Sony Qrio, those robots look really cool.

Modifying The Robosapien
Crazy things people do with their robots (4) I think robots are cool. I bought my son a robosapien, he's cool and their are people out ther
modifying them with fm audio receivers and video transmitters and hand held computers attached to
their circuit boards for increased computing power, I even saw one with a mini-blowtorch attached to
his back and it made a flamethrower from his left hand through a tube fed through his elbow into
his hand. Pretty wild. You can see what I mean here. http://home.planet.nl/~pruim006/ I also
need to add that there is another site about modifying the robosapien from one of, ....

All About Google....
Yet another article ive found. (1) I found another interesting article which I thought I would share with you: QUOTE Google is
working on its most ambitious project to date, the creation of a global data transfer network that
could effectively serve as a private Internet. Since the introduction of AdWords three years ago,
Google has become the world's largest media company and advertising vehicle. It has grown to
rival Microsoft in scope and scale. The process has made it a fully globalized corporation.

New Lcd Monitor
just got it today (5) So my old Wal-mart special KDS 17" monitor was on it's way out after about 2 years. So I bit
the bullet and upgraded to an LCD. I managed to get a great deal at newegg on a FujiPlus 19" 12ms
unit. I basically would have paid the same for a 19" crt. It seems to me that LCD prices are
really starting to be comparable to CRT. Gotta wait for a stupid rebate though, which kinda sucks.
It just got my hands on it today and I have to say that I'm blown away. I have it plugged into
my 9700pro in the DVI and it is awesome. Nice and crisp and no dead pixels. I got l....

researching habits and customs of 100 people. With the data, he got from the research, he was able

future... Mobile phones Nokia 6600 were given to 100 students and working on MIT. On those phones

searched for other test-users, which are in the range of the bluetooth signal. With this ac....
Doctor's Becoming Robots
(10) I forget what they call the robots, but they have a computer screen, camera and infra-red
sensor's. The doctor sits in his office 30 miles away and can speak to his patients through this
robot and they can speak back. Just by sitting in that same seat he can control where the robot goes
and review patient history and other important documents. By keeping this method of doctory around i
think that the amount of doctors could become minimised because one doctor could serve to a whole
heap of patients through this new technology. though you would still need doctors that....
