| | I am trying to learn PHP. I have a Windows Vista machine. I know nothing about MySql, Apache, or PHP. I have installed WAMP. When I trying running the localhost, I get an http error 404.4. The UCA is off. I need some very basic step-by-step instructions on how to get the Vista machine to run WAMP. I have Dreamweaver CS4 for my website creations. However, I was told that I cannot run PhP on Dreamweaver. I downloaded some PHP scripts from some websites so that I can have logins with username and passwords onto my site. I am trying to create a site to sell items like books, photographs, etc. I also downloaded a PHP script for an auction type site. Anyway, if any of you can point me to a site or a book that can show me what to do, I would really apprecitate it. I have googled to try and find the answer. However, most of the information is way beyond me the way it's explained; as I said, I am brand new to all this. I have not discovered a site that will do a step-by-step instruction.
