I just recieved a codeproject newsletter outlining the new release of Visual Studio. I thought I'd take a look at the site, and found something called the "Express Editions". The idea is that these are basic editions of the full programs, but still allow you to develop fully functional programs. According to the Microsoft Website, the software is normally $49 US, but they are letting users download it for free until the 7th of November 2006 (next year). After that date they will start charging for download (i think). Another important note is that there are no licensing restrictions - you can sell the software you create. Perfect! If the reputation point system is still available, I'll definately give you one. Visual Studio has never been free and their prices reaches to thousands of dollars (>$1000) and even more for enterprise versions. Now their newest version, Visual Studio 2005 Express, comes for FREE. However this last for 1 year until 7th November 2006 so quick grab a copy so you don't need to fork out thousands of dollars for it after 7th November 2006. It's a programming tool/interface for developing .NET applications. Just like Java where they have their SDK (Software Development Kits). If you are a .NET programmer, you will definately download this software. If you are not, you basically don't know what is going on. Thanks for that link. I've always wanted to start making programs with Visual Studio. I've used the full version before but the incredible cost has put me off buying it before! Thanks again.

Yeah, no problem guys, i sorta found the site and thought "wow. that's way too good to keep to myself"... i'm using Visual C++ 2003 and that is absolutely brilliant. I was going to download almost all of the Visual Studio Express Languages last night, but the problem is my family's broadband connection is limited to 300 MB per month... and if i want to download the .NET 2.0 SDK that's about 40 MB over my MONTHLY limit... i'm going to have a bit of a problem getting it, not to mention all the languages as well. I might just talk to one of my friends: he's got 20 GB a month (no justice in this world hey  ) anyways, no problem guys, make the most of it while you can hey! peace out

Visual Wd Is The Poorest Attempt Of Programming Yet
Microsoft has let them selves down (0) Well for starters, the installer says it all. It took me 75 mins to install and i got a 4 CPU 3.5
gHz processor, the images still have their magenta background and they look like its been drawn on
paint. You go make an application but you dicide its rubbish - so you delete it, and unlike Basic
and C# your project is still listed with no images and the link is broken, so it just wastes space.

Problem With Firefox, Latest Version, Not Loading Pages
any ideas? (4) Hi all Ive had this problem for a little while now, i cant say exactly when but it started with
sites such as youtube and has spread out from there really, the biggest culprits are youtube and
myspace. The issue is that if i was on youtube and wanted to watch a video i would obviously click
the link, firefox would then show the loading bar and my page loading timer would start but it would
never actually begin loading, the status bar would say "loading" or if i clicked the link again it
would show "stopped" yet the loading bar would be there. Needless to say the loadin....

"White Chocolate" - Updated with each version (11) I have been working on making a template for myspace that gets rid of all the nasty crap people put
all over. It does this by making the myspace minimilistic, so they can not add much stuff other then
