| | I recently bought an E-Tech ADSL Modem Router, I think I have configured everything as it should be. If I download a file the speed is OK, but if I upload a file the speeds drop to arround 10 kb/s while they where arround 50 kb/s before I got the modemrouter 
This is happening on every FTP server I try, and no other computers in my LAN are currently using the speed |

With ADSL the upload and download bandwidths are assymmetric. This means that upload spped will be (most usually) less than the download speeds. What were you using before getting this router?

Downloading arround 300 KB/s which hasn't changed, uploading arround 50 KB/s which has shrunk to 10 KB/s :[

Bt Voyager 2100 Wireless Router
Goods and Bads (1) BT VOYAGER 2100 (WIRELESS ROUTER) the Bt Voyager 2100 is a good piece of kit and a lot better than
belkin Wireless routers. The minimun speed i would advise to work at is a BT BroadBand Connection
of 512kb (thats minimum) In the 2100 package from pcworld you usually get a wireless router box
with two aerials, you also get a Pci card that plugs into a usual computer with an aerial and you
also get a Bt card to slide into a laptop. The frequency and the connection is rather good. You can
take the laptop into the garden and still use it... If you wanted to know more go....
Modem Dissconnection
Random intervals (5) Ive had this problem for 2 years now, i surf the net websites, online games , you know the usuall
stuff then the modem/router (1MB Speed) dissconnects, i realise this when i see that the pages wont
load, i get a connection interupt in the game , then i look at the modem light, and the data light
stops flashing, i then have to either, turn off the modem and back on and wait 60 seconds for it to
reload,and connect, or i go to my control panel disable then enable it . Now ive asked my ISP
(provider of my modem) since i have been having this problem since i got the modem i....

For FREE (2) can anybody upload it for me plz i cant upload it myself thank you. Ill get a host with unlimited
ftp soon seen as i was away and my post count went down here....
