Ventrilo Servers

Does anybody know of a service that offers free (or at least cheap) Ventrilo/Team Speak servers?
I'm looking to get one for my gaming clan.

well i really doubt there is free server hostings for vent, but if u go to their website u can download their vent server hosting program and u can host your own server if u configure ur internet correctly unless u dont use a router and just use a direct connection then u can host the server yourself without having to pay for hosting but the servers latency will depend on how fast your connection is.

well i agree with the guy above, if your looking to play with ur friends once in a while you can host one on your own computer for the duration of the game. You can also use xfire if its just going to be a non-permenent chat. But if your looking for free servers permenently its not going to happen.

Yeah I am sure you will not find any free ventrillo servers out there. Using your own computer as a server is not nice though (that what I think) because if the other members of your clan wants to use it and you are not online then it would suck wouldn't it?

I don't know how much you can pay, but is this url I'm showing you you can buy 10-slot ventrillo servers for $4,95: http://www.mainstreamgaming.com/ventrilo.php

There are also teamspeak servers and other gaming stuff that you might be interested

I guess you are not but I thought it would be nice to tell you anyway.

They're not free, but our guild uses Darkstarllc.Com .. They give you all the codecs for free and have a pretty disgusting control panel that automates everything. At the moment they've also got a deal going for 35 user and 50 user servers which was the best deal we could find as well.

I want to share a ventrilo server that i own with everyone! The ventrilo is for people that play any game or just want to come and hangout you can get your own channel and channel admin! hey scubasteve I tried to connect to your server it says server is available but when I press connect it says... Connected to server but unable to authenticate your login name and password so idk what to do help me out
