I play neopets. I love it, it's so simple and fun. I started playing it when I was 12 after reading about it from a School Newspaper that soon after got discontinued. Three years later, I'm still playing. But I think that recently it's been getting out of hand. The comic-like "plots" they've been coming up recently get stupider every year, and they do something new everyday that seems just stupid, for example, a new species of pet, dedication to a colour, etc, etc. What's even more annoying is, hardly any neopets merchandise has come overseas into the UK. We've heard nothing about the TCG, and their latest PS2 game, The Darkest Faerie, looks like it'll never be shipped out (although they promise they will, but they lie too often). I don't play neopets anymore, but I still play it. It's fun, and it's a good escape from the real world. But I WISH they'd use a bit more common sense nowadays, it's getting ridiculous!!! Maybe that's the reason I started my own project a while ago.

Used to play neopets when i was like 13 few years ago. Simply cause there wasnt much else, maybe RuneScape too.

Did use to have an account of iamneomaster but seems to be cleared now. Wasnt a bad game but kinda grew out from it.

Good game for the younger people, i think its pretty sad if your over 17 and still playing it. But thats me

I used to play Neopets but then they changed the layout and suddenly each page took forever to load (dial-up) so I got impatient and quit. I was ready to quit, anyway. Too many rants about it. For example, it's too crowded. And I really hated it when they introduced the forms you filled out to send in an idea or bug. And I liked the old forums; they didn't need to change them. And they kept taking off good games and replacing them with stupid sequels...and then they added ADS to the site. And then Viacom bought it. And there's a bunch of stupid merchandise (and yes, I own a bunch of stuffies, but that's not the point). And they're making a Neopets MOVIE. GAH.

I have to say it's a very good kid friendly site, which is mainly browser based and has plenty of things to do. I guess the problem is it's over saturated with members, and things like buying food are impossible to do as it basically flies off the shop shelf.

The range of flash games and the character design is rather good in my opinion, and some of the integrated advertising isn't so bad (ie McDonalds store). At least the overall community is still miles better than Runescape on any given day...

Neopets has more haxxing involved around it that any other game I know. The boards are invested with 'lend me your snowfakle pleeeez!@!@!!@1' and 'password pol00x'. So many people waste they're time making amateur sites made in 'Free Forms - No coding required!' with ads all over it.

I played it 3 years ago. It was fun then, when you first start it seems like so much to do with all the freebies, guilds, shops, items, battledomes, places and pets. I remember the first time I found guilds, I was absolutely obssessed with getting a council place. I went from guild to guild when none accepted my offer of 'a noob with no skills seeks council possie so I have lots of power and don't know how to use it'. Then I went to the battledome, and made it routine in my life to pay my codestone, wait 6 hours, then come back and have gone up a level, until I was good enough to trash virtually anyone. Then I spent days on the various 'random battles' available throughout Neopia.

And that was pretty much how I spent virtually 2 years, on a game I now view as sad.

I used 2 use neopets... wen i was lyk 8 - 10! i spose it wasn't all that bad.. the guilds lead 2 me teaching myself HTML... then move on to Javascript...C++....Java.... Wow....

I use to go there all the time. I had some much money until one day because me any my sis both had accounts it said they closed both accounts. I was rally mad becuase i have been playing for months. So after that i basically stopped going.

I started to play neopets when i was in Year 4, my friend told me that it was really fun and he told me about what you do in the game. He told me that you had to take care of a creature and that you can play games. Since i was about 10 at the time the game seemed like alot of fun. When i started to play it, I was only on 56kbps Dial up and so it took forever to play games but it was worth it. Sure my brother would get annoyed as i was using the internet for games and neopet auctions. Later on as i grew up i started to play it like twice a week but soon started to only play the games and not take care of the pets. If they were alive then im sure that they would have been dead along time ago, but that is what makes neopets great. You can forget to feed them and they will still live. I also used to challenge my friends to fights always losing as i had no armour or weapons at all. Soon i began to drift away from playing neopets as i started to grow up and found it to be a bit childish. I stopped playing it about a year ago, and am wondering if they have updated anything else or if they still have competitions like they used to? Also do they still have all those rare pets in the adoption agency? Because when i played they had so many things that made it great but now all i hear are negative things about it.

Neopets are only for those very young kids. I dont know why some old people are playing these games. It sucks, the games are all promo games, you never win anything good at any contests. And the games are too hard to beat. Also, neopets is a waste of time, whoever plays neopets right now should get up and go outside to get some sunshine.
