I'm getting to the stage where I require extra memory and in time bandwidth. I understand this is available once you are above 30 hosting credits but how does it come about?
Once you have reached this milestone does it automatically upgrade your account or is there something we are required to do? What then happens if you go into this additional memory/bandwidth and you the slip below the 30 days hosting credits?

Im not sure how you upgrade but it doesnt happen automatically, there is a process to go through but i dont know it, i just know its not automatic QUOTE What then happens if you go into this additional memory/bandwidth and you the slip below the 30 days hosting credits? Im not exactly sure what you mean but this might help, with the 3O credit package it works the same as the 1O credit package so when you reach zero credits your hosting is suspended and when you get above zero it comes back, you can go below 3O credits s long as you stay above zero, is that what you meant?

It's kind of what I meant. What happens though if you are using more than the memory you receive with the normal 10 credit package as you were in the 30 credit package but you then fall between 0 & 30 credits. Does your account get suspended or do you have until you fall below 0 again. This isn't the important thing just now anyway, I need to get up to 30 credits first & find out how I can upgrade. I'm wanting to install the small machines discussion board on my site which requires 40 or so MB. Thanks, std

stevethedog You have to put in a request for the upgrade, and you would go here to fill out the form, and once the admin approve it they will reset your hosting credits to 2, and upgrade your account without losing anything or suffering any downtime. Your account won't get suspended until you go below 0 credits, and so you can have 10 credits in the default package without having any problems.

Problem Concerning Credits Reduced
Reduced when I created a hosting account (12) My free web hosting account request for the second package was approved, which means that at the
time of the request (the topic itself) or the topic, however you want to name it, i had something

The System Doesn't Let Me Apply For Hosting Upgrade [resolved]
(4) I applied in July for hosting, here . I got it, everything was ok for the last 3 months. Now I
gathered more than 30 credits (thanks to bthaxor's giveaway partially) and I wanted to apply for
Hosting Upgrade. I went to the Requests Forums, and when I clicked on the link for the Request Form
here I got this error message: QUOTE The error returned was: Our records indicate that you
have already submitted an application. Please wait until that application is approved or denied
before submitting another one. Is it something I did wrong? I hope it is so, and....

How on earth did they get reduced that quickly? I am so confused. Any help please?....

(5) I was wondering if Trap17 has a referral program. I see that they ask you put a banner on your site
for them, but is their any personal gain? I know this community is awesome and so is Trap17. I was
just thinking it'd be nice to get referral points as well.....
I Really Do Not Understand
How do they calculate your credits? (6) A minute ago, I noticed my site nor my email wer working. So, I decided to come here and check my
amount of credit, as I knew I was getting low. But who can understand my astonishment when I noticed
that I was in a negative state of credit, at -4.15? What happens on this site then? Do they just
eat your credit as they see fit or what? As I said before, I knew I was getting low, and that is why
I came and checked, but yesterday I still had credit worth 1.65 points, today I find myself at
-4.15. So, you can imagine that has really left me wondering how i could have eaten....

Suspended Account
I need help and fast (1) My account was recently suspended because my hosting credits went below 0.00 days, this was totally
unintentional because i was away and didn't have access to a computer. It was a family issue.
Anyways i posted in the forums and my hosting credits are now 6.34 days, but when i try to log into
the c-panel it doesn't want to enter. It doesn't say anything about an error, the page
simply doesn't load. I don't know what the problem is and i want to use the same sub domain.
what should i do. do my credit have to go up to a certain number or what exactly is....
Cannot Connect With Ftp [resolved]
Default account can, but not created FTP account. (3) I have a bit of a strange problem that someone here may be able to help with. I am preparing my new
Trap17 account for my new site, and am setting up FTP access. I can login quite fine by using the
default login details, using my cPanel username and password as my FTP login credentials. However, I
have created a new FTP account using cPanel, giving access directly to the /public_html/ folder,
with a username of webmaster. Below is the result of a Core FTP session, which shows that my
password is not being accepted... Resolving ftp.travstatesmen.trap17.com... Connect ....

Transfer To Free Hosting? [resolved]
(9) I am in the negative points as we speak here just to state that. I have had a couple times when I

Gamma Servers' Problem
This topic is for all who have their account on Gamma Server & ha (1) Okay I see a lot of chaos all around and my site zoebelkin.co.cc is still down. Everything including
FTP, CPanel etc are down. My site is on the gamma server. I see that all the servers are moved
around a lot and the IP blocks also changing. So what is the new IP set for 'gamma'. When
doing a reverse check on gamma I see it is still assigned to it's previous IP but when I'm
trying to access the previous IP's port 80 then I get a Server not found error. Also the
gamma.xisto.com name for the server fails to open the default Apache page which it used to ....

Change To The Way Hosting Credits Work?

Problems Adding An Email Account
