| | Here is some good news for guys who have been consistently losing hair. Researchers have found a way to make human skin cells to grow hair follicles from within. Here is an excerpt from the article QUOTE In fact, researchers have recently found that when skin is wounded, epidermal cells can respond by assuming the properties of stem cells that generate hair follicles and growing new hair, according to a report published in the "Nature" magazine. After removing patches of skin from mice, the researchers studied how the wounds healed in the ensuing weeks and cells that were not initially associated with hair follicles began to express genes found in the stem cells thereby giving rise to follicles during development. Hair growth occurred regardless of the mouse's age, the report said. That should be the ultimate cure for baldness. Hope it works |

well it seems the people that are going bald and want to keep their hair might get lucky, but I think the ultimate cure to going bald is to shave all your hair off, it really doesn't look bad at all. My dad shaves his head, looks fine. The only downside is you have to put sunblock on your head when you go to the lake. Balding is not a big deal, it's a part of life, nobody is going to hate you because you're bald so let it happen, that's my view on it.
