Suddenly today whenever I visit a topic rather than displaying ther posts one after the other it
just shows the first port and the like a file directory underneath it e.g POST GOES HERE then
under it there is post goes here | Reply 1 | Reply 2 anyone help if you can
it will be much appreciated, I wonder if I changed a setting by accident ...

My friend, tramposch, is not able to get on the forums, lite or full version, or for that matter any
part of the trap17 website. does any1 know what is wrong?...

The forum has been up and running for about a year and a half. It has been through numerous server
upgrades, etc, including the recent HDD change, but for some reason, just this week it started

*edit* Ok well the original problem has been solved. I have installed phpBB2 on my new how here.
Transfered all of the database files over. On my new forums all of the old posts and everything
shows up right. The problem is when I click the "Go to administration panel" at the bottom it links
me to log into my ACP on my old forums. It changes the url and all. If I hover over the link it
says that it will be directed to the right way, the way I want, but it doesn't. Does anyone
know anyway to fix this?...

I am moving my phpBB2 forums from my old host, my-php.net, to this one. I have full access to my old
forums. I was wanting help on this to make sure nothing goes wrong. My forum members and I can not
risk having to lose all of our current information. So what I am thinking I have to do is. Export
my forums mySQL database with phpmyadmin. Import it into my database here on this host. Move the
forum directory to this sites ftp account. Change the root directory in my forum settings. I know
there has to be some things I have to change right? Some files or other settings...

Hello, I am having database errors. They started after yesterdays HDD change. Its all fine when i
refresh site, they not that often but still i get them. It says "could not connect to database". And

Hi there Im having a nasty issue with accesing the forums when javscript is enabled in my browser,
both in IE6 and the latest FF, at the moment JS is off which is why im able to post this. Basically
when i access the forums the forums shw for a split secnd and then are replaced by a blank page with
a link saying "Click to show/hide »" with the url f that link being whatever page i wass trying to
get, with a hash, eg trap17.com/forums/# and if i click that link it just repeats with the forums
than this blank page. Any ideas what it is? I dont see how it could be my sid...

I am trying to put php forums on my site. I think the only ones around are these
http://www.phpbb.com correct? even if there not they seem to be what most people use. I currently
have proboards which deffinelty leaves alot to be desired. What I am wondering is after i download
the forums and upload them via ftp. Where do i upload them to? the Public_html folder? and if so
can i edit and/make boards and categoirs etc just from being an admin on those forums or do i need

Hey guys, I'm having a problem setting cookies with PHP. I am trying to implement a script that
will allow someone to log in and access members only pages on my website. One of the aspects is that
I have to place a cookie on that persons computer. I know that you can use the PHP function

Need help with installing the phpBB2 discussion forum. It asks QUOTE Leave empty to install

Hey guys, what's the best way to get more traffic at my new software forums? They are pretty
empty as they have just been added (Aug 17th, 2006) to my already established software download

I can never get enough (any, hehe) members for my forums, I'm wondering why. My forums are

It seems lately that I have seen a lot of grammatical and spelling errors when people post in the
forums. I really have enjoyed my stay here at Trap17 but I get really frustrated when I see
people carelessly type their message and give little consideration to any errors they may have
