I have had my say about a couple of sites on the "Hosted" forum, I guess it's only fair that people have their say about my design. This is the site I hope to host here once I have enough credits for the Package 2 hosting offer. (needed due to the size of the site) It is a fantasy image gallery driven by PHP and MySQL. The link below does not go to a working site, just a html version of the main page, it shows the layout/theme of the site but none of the links go anywhere at this stage. (I need PHP and MySQL to make the site live.) So I guess for this one all I'm after is comments on the layout. Mud Mall Fantasy GalleryHere is another working site that made for an online role playing game that no longer exists. This site only uses html, a Flash intro, some javascript and CSS. Because the game no longer exists, some of the links no longer work, notably those in the header. ShyderraAlthough the purpose for the site no longer exists, I am fond of the layout and might use it somewhere else in the future.

The first one has a nice and simple design. Nothing extravagant. The colors fit nicely with each other. nice to look at. not to bright. the only thing i can say is that it might be a bit to basic. i might also add a 1px stroke around the sites name thing. Then for the second one i have a general dislike for intros and yours is a bit long too but its nicely made. The site design i like better than the first site. Good graphics and the menu navigates really well.

all right Avalon, here are my comments for the site layout! Well, I did'nt like the background at all...may be because i prefer plain backgrounds  I liked the Navigation system but color of the site failed to impress me. Font selection was good. overall, i'll say that i was not satisfied with the result much after looking at your SIG and the work you showed off few days back! well please dont mind....hope to see great work in future.

Thanks for the feedback, this is what helps me learn. @mayank: I guess backgrounds are a matter of preference, I like a background so long as it's not too overwhelming. Some of the animated backgrounds you see around just make me dizzy and distract from the site content. @sxyloverboy: It's funny you should say you think it's a little too basic. I was told the previous version of this site had too many graphics and too much going on. It had a lot of animated graphics, I guess I've gone too far the other way. With the second site, I'm not a fan of intros either. This site was made for someone else and they wanted a Flash intro, unfortunately web designers don't always get to make things the way they like if their making the site for someone else.  I guess the main thing from the feedback is to make the first site a little more interesting. I can do that.

I love basic. It's effective in my view. I am not experienced in website design, so I like your little setup. I also like the colors, a nice blue theme with the background, in my view, matching nicely with your table border images. Overall 8/10 from me...a few graphics could help...

Warlords Series And Other Turn Based Strategy Games
Both RTS (Battlecry) and TBS (0) So are there any fans of any of the above mentioned games? Personally Warlords series is one of my

Pc Wont Turn On But There Is Power To It

Basically i have a custom built PC which has wrked fine for atleast a year, maybe two, the other
day it didnt turn on but i saw a little orange LED inside which meant there was power to it so i
inplugged it and plugged it back in at the mains and it booted up fine. I got home today and tried
turning it on, same thing happened, nothing. Except the little orange LED which is always on when

Pc Turn On For A Second And Then Turn Off With Beeps
(11) Hello, I'm newbie here, so i need some advice from all of you. My PC got some kind of problem.
When I want to turn it on it turn on for a second or two and then it suddenly turn off followed by
beeps like a police siren continuously. May I know what's wrong with my pc. When i looked at the

Which do you prefer and why? (5) I wonder why most people prefer real time strategies. It's really just a clicking contest. My
votes for turn based, and I'd like to know why people like rts so much. They are enjoyable, but
just can't compete with turn based yet. Yet just look at trap17.com forums, no turn based

as a clipping group. When you group two or more layers, the base (bottommost) layer becomes a mask

Computer Does Not Start

before anything comes into the screens. Three beeps sound before it turns off. He asked me for
advice but i did not know what to tell him. I guess could be the Bios but i do not have a big

Disable 'turn Off System Restore' In Windows Xp

gpedit.msc and click Enter 3. On the left in the Computer Configuration go to Administrative
Templates then System then System Restore. 4. Double click on the Turn off System Restore on the
screen on the right and choose Enable. Check if it's working. Go to System Properties (Control
Panel -> System) and to tab System Restore The 'Turn off System Restore' should be now
'unclickable' ....
