| | The thing is that most really young kids, when they're first starting out with web sites, are too stupid to find a good host, so they just go to a host they've heard about. Tripod and similar sites (AOL Hometown, Geocities, etc.) aren't that bad from a kid's perspective, but if you're actually making a site that you care about, ads really take down the quality a lot. |
