I suppose it would be fun because of the 17 number and that, but there are so much members, a lot of them passers-by, so the server would be fragmented into lot of accounts, most of them unused. And another thing, the more accounts here, the more that admins have to pay attention to, erase for inactivity, if they violate the TOS, have illegal activities, etc. I mean, not a good idea overall...
But then he talks about gathering 100 credits so I don't know. 17 mbs for 100 credits and 500 for 30?  I still don't understand. |

I think such an idea would be plain irresponsible, I highly doubt the servers have 632GB of space to spare, and if they did attempt this, they would be overselling, thus breaking one of their main priorities. Plus, who knows who has accounts here? I am sure most of us dont want spam bots getting access to webspace, the owner of those bots could post all sorts of stuff, and because there would be 38,000 accounts, it would be ages till someone found out...

Google Blocks Trap17?
(8) Hello. Me and innosia have tried adding our links to Google's URL crawl page, but Google wont
verify. He says it works for the paid Trap17 hosting, but not the free. I've tried Yahoo and
Google and they both will not verify. I've tried adding the meta tag, and file to the cPanel
File Manager and tried re-verifying but theres no use. I've tried refreshing, reloading the
page, clearing my cookies but Google says server timeout. Is Trap17 blocking Google, or is Google
blocking Trap17? Help with be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Sky....
Problem Concerning Credits Reduced
Reduced when I created a hosting account (12) My free web hosting account request for the second package was approved, which means that at the
time of the request (the topic itself) or the topic, however you want to name it, i had something
over 37 credits, positive and green of course, and when the admin actually approved the request, and
we all know that exactly when we see some changes on the request topic title, for instance, the
addiction of the words: "denied", "approved", et cetera. The point is that when the admin approved
today i had about 45 or 47 credits, and i created then the hosting account that only....

The System Doesn't Let Me Apply For Hosting Upgrade [resolved]
(4) I applied in July for hosting, here . I got it, everything was ok for the last 3 months. Now I
gathered more than 30 credits (thanks to bthaxor's giveaway partially) and I wanted to apply for
Hosting Upgrade. I went to the Requests Forums, and when I clicked on the link for the Request Form

Trap17 is more navigatable and has a cooler cPanel than computinghost. (1) Trap17 is more navigatable and has a cooler cPanel than computinghost... This may be opinion, but
the HTML editor on computinghost is long gone. The cPanel is the newer version but as always newer
isn't always better. So what if they have a new cpanel (ensim did the same thing)…the fact is
they left old software on for years when much newer and more secure versions are ready. Hell, php6
is about to come out. So in two years plesk, cpanel and ensim will finally go to php6 when php 8 is
available. Just the inablilty to apply security patches alone is enough to nev....
