I have seen much great hostings in my country. Unlimited space, unlimited bandwidth and much other things. Everybody used it. But, after a long time, there was very much members and the services become paied. Trap17 have great features, surelly the best I've seen for free. But now I ask: Will Trap17 be always free?

I will agree with you and say that Trap17 indeed has a whole list of great features that comes with your hosting plan. It does cost a lot of money to pay the hosting company that hosts the servers for Trap17 with all the features, especially space and bandwidth. Trap17 depends on donations and clicking of the ads on the website to have enough money to pay for the services that us members use. OpaQue, wassie, Zenchi, prodigy, or any other admin could probably comment in more detail what would happen in this situation since they are the lead people here.

I hope that it stays free forever

So far i think they are doing ok no? I mean they have got advertisers and such for their site and all that good stuff.

Do they still need more donations and such or are they still doing ok? It would be a shame to see them loose the free hosting and such.

Trap17 will always be free. If we ever feel that we are unable to support further accounts, We will shut down further registrations for Web Hosting and continue with the community we have. We will always welcome members who want to be a part of our community without expecting a hosting account.

i hope they have free hosting forever too. if they don't i have to bust my back and try to find another good free hosting which is hard to get crossed by. trap17 is the first free webhosting with so many good features.

I hope also that this service remains free!
When I tried to find some free web hosting, I stumbled upon very strange results... Some offer massive webspace, but without PHP or mySQL, some offer PHP with mySQL, but with 5MB of webspace. Some offer both, but with a massive banner or ad on top of my page that literally cripples it!

I plan to stick to Trap17, before I loose my mind again when I go hunting for free web hosting again...

This is definitely the best free host I have heard for. When I made my site at "localhost" I thought I'll have to pay for hosting because there wasn't a free host with such great features. But then, I friend showed me trap17 and at the first moment I thought it was a joke but then I read few topics on this forum and decided to register and try to "win" the hosting. As you can see, I am still trying to reach the 15 posts to get it so don't wonder if you read something stupid in this post (hehe just kidding ).
