Directv has now went mobile. For a mere $2295.00 you too can have a Trackvision A5 receiver and antenna installed in your vehicle. The company reports that subscription for the mobile service (Directv's Total Choice Mobile Package) is only $4.99 per month for existing Directv customers. For more details, visit the company's website www.kvh.com. It is also reported that Humax is going to offer a Directv mobile personal media player called the istation. It has a 4" screen and a 20 GB hard drive that allows you to download shows straight from your Directv DVR. Some of Directv's plans for these type units include $0.99 cent downloads of commercial free shows. You can see the Humax istation at www.engadget.com.
