my friend recently reinstalled her laptop with Windows XP SP2. However, when I tried to help her install the driver, her laptop can't figure which is which.
I tried to tell her to install the driver provided by Toshiba for the LAN adapter on "Ethernet Controller", however Windows keeps rejecting the .INF.
If anyone has a solution, it would be greatly appreciated.

Toshiba laptop AC Power Issue

Hi, i am having a problem with my laptop. It is a On a Toshiba Satellite A65-s1067 and it is 2
years old. It was working last night but today when ever i have the laptop pluged in to its charger
the charger, battery is clicking. It even sounds like the clicking is coming from the BIOS when the
AC is plugged in and the Battery is taken out. When i am in windows my battery gets drained even
though the charger is plugged in, and my computer will not start without the battery for some
reason. I also always get messages from windows saying low battery even when it is cha....
Installing A New Disk Drive
on a Toshiba Satellite Laptop (7)
Hi, I am tring to install a 100GB External Hard Disk Drive onto my laptop. I plug the drive in
through USB and it makes the hardware connect noise then about 5 seconds later it makes the hardware
discconect noise. I dont know what to do the software it came with was ment for internal
installation. But, i used an External Conversion kit and made it an external drive. I have already
tried going into the bios and it listed nothing about the drive. My computer dosent even know that
it is there. I need some help on this because if this dosent work then i payed $160....

I am now very involved in the situation. Suddenly, it was not possible to use the modem, dissapeared
from the Network Connections and can't choose it when starrting the Internet Connection Wizard.
It's, like, disabled. After a couple days I heard someone with the same problem did something in
the control panel, administrative tools and solved it. Does some one know anything about it???
