I also use Azureus and yes it really does cut back on the bandwidth compared to most torrents. I know it used to be the one that took up the most but still had the fastest download speed, but now with the new scripts I am assuming, it has cut back on the bandwidth usage immensly. I suggest getting this to anyone who downloads torrents, especially more than one at a time. I have gotten movies, series, etc. all from this program because of how quickly it goes. Though, it also does depend on how many seeds/peers you have, but for the most part this will give you the best connection/download speed. I think it is due to the fact that it runs on Java.

Anyway, I agree with you xboxrulz that Azureus an awesome torrent program to use!

i use uTorrent to get stuff that i want. i've used BitTorrent before but i was totally clueless about torrents and torrent clients before so i discontinued the usage. i was introduced to uTorrent by my classmate in my database class when we did our overnights at their home. at that time i only had a dial-up connection at home so you could imagine the speed i'm getting when i download albums. if i remember correctly, the very first album i've successfully downloaded using a torrent client is the album of carrie underwood. i've downloaded it before using kazaa but i lost the copy because of the virus i got after using kazaa. when we subscribed for a dsl connection, the first album i downloaded was the live album of dishwalla.

i don't know about the download connection though. i rarely check it. as long as i see seeders, i'm fine with it the cost of monthly dsl subscription is P999 i think so that would cost around US$20-$25, which is added to our monthly phone fees.

I use Bitlord and it is the best. No download problems at all. Gives me the best download speeds even if i upload at the lowest possible speed.
