why don't we do it, even though we are not a GTA or games fansite, but we hold various subforums

With Flash Player 9 on practically every PC, a lot of web developers are moving to Abobe Flex, Flash
and Actionscript as a development platform. I've seen a few posts related to the platform and I
feel that a dedicated forum is more than warranted. Flash discussions could fall under web design
as a sub-forum, while actionscript could fall under Programming Languages. There is also MXML to
consider. It's Adobe's custom mark-up language for flash components. But these are just

Ok. I'm an assembly programmer and I've given a shot at Delphi. But there's no real

forum just for me, so i would like to listen your opinions about this. Python is a programming

I'd like to suggest a freelance coders forum or subforum under Internet. I know a few popular
sites where people go to hire programmers, web designers, etc. I don't like the open bidding
system, though, where coders are bidding down their price so low that they're not going to make
any money for their efforts. Maybe the forum should have a 'minimum wage', flat rates or
payscale that members agree to follow. Maybe we can all contribute to the structure so that it's

I just noticed while browsing thru some subforums here in trap that the icons for the threads
don't specify if I have made posts on the thread. I've been to other forums and they have
customized icons for threads like if a thread is locked, active (hot topic) or if you have posted
something there. I know some of you would think this wouldn't be necessary but I think it's
important especially to prevent double-posting on threads, repeating threads and stuff. That's

i suggest that the sub-forums such as MISC needs to be more active because no one has posted in it
yet so we need somthing to make inactive sub-forums active. there needs to be a idea to get members
to post in all topics to get more posts going around the forum which allows members to earn credits

Well I thought I take another crack at this topic now that 2.3 is a stabled Version of IPB. After

See, I play the guitar. But, I see a bunch of forums asking about instruments that I think are kind

A suggestion to improve the site search engine function. I wanted to put a link in one of my
recent posts to a tutorial I did on Proper Introductions, so I did a search to find it. "proper
introduction" (without the quotes) in all forums rendered 897 results. Then I did a search for
"+proper +introductions" (again without the quotes) in all forums rendered 13 results, none of which
were my tutorial. So I went to "+proper +introductions" (no quotes again) in just the tutorial
forum and got QUOTE Unfortunately your search didn't return any results. Try...

I think Trap17 's forum should be changed to Simple Machines instead of Invision Power Board ,
Simple Machines is easier to use , simple and quick as well as the quality is better than Invision

Why is it that when I view some of my posts it says error? Cant these topics by me be viewed by
other users? I was wondering if this error is on the database of trap17.com forums. Ive had this
problem also in my WAP community site some months ago. It was due to the quotes and double quotes
people post. But Im not sure what is the problem in here. Invision Power Board should have fixed

As you can tell, the trap forums have almost every topic under the sun. The only thing that is
missing is a sports related forum. I'm sure that there are a lot of people out there who want to
talk about tonights game, Barry Bonds on steroids, and about their Fantasy Football team. If you put
up a sports forum, I'm sure it will be a big hit right away because there are very few pople who

I love the quick links at the bottom of each site which tell you the most recent posts, ect.
However I think it would be nice to know that forum they are posted in because I have a slow
connection and it is a waist of my time when I see a topic that I can answer and it actualy a
tutorial. Or even if the tutorials could be in a diffrent colour, have an icon or be labled with a

Hello, I guess this would be a suggestion, I odnt really know. Well, on your forums when I click
your Trap 17 logo, it send me no where. I think it just refreshed the page. I thoguth it was just a
little script glitch. Then I tried it in Internet Explorer and the logo sent me back to the main
forum index. Is it possible to make it like that in Firefox? This is weird how it doesnt work, it
