Bush on Gas prices -- pre 2000:Mr. Bush was critical of Al Gore in the 2000 campaign for being part of “the administration that's been in charge” while the “price of gasoline has gone steadily upward.” In December 1999, in the first Republican primary debate, Mr. Bush said President Clinton “must jawbone OPEC members to lower prices.” Hmmmph... he actually said this? There should be no surprise that his approval rating is hovering around 30% right now - as the price per gallon flirts with $3/gallon. This year, oil corporate profits per gallon was over 90¢ per gallon - yet last year it was closer to 30¢ I told you so...I have felt like going to all of my friends and family who actually supported and voted for Bush. I told them all - at the time that he would lie, and twist the truth, and assert pressure on Arab countries - as well as not capture Bin Laden. Well, I joked that they would catch Bin Laden if Bush's approval rating dropped below 40%... maybe they are waiting for just below 30%. There were so many signs at the time that Bush would be following the path that he is on, yet so many people were supporting this WAR president - "remember 9/11?" ... "he keeps his word - not a flip-flopper". Well, he has proven himself to be what he is - a complete liar so far. He tells us what we want to hear. - before first election, Bush argued against nation building and foreign military entanglements. In the second presidential debate, he said: "I'm not so sure the role of the United States is to go around the world and say, 'This is the way it's got to be.'"
- "If there is a leak out of my administration, I want to know about it"... HE WAS THE LEAKER!
- Bush said, "I don't think you can win it" (on a war on Terror)... later said "We meet today in a time of war for our country, a war we did not start yet one that we will win." and "we are winning, and we will win"
- pledged to not touch the Social Security reserve -- oopsie daisy.
- on N. Korea - no offer of incentives to disarm... Ok, here's some incentives....
- originally against creating Homeland Security department - then proceeded with largest expansion of Federal Goverment since the creation of the Defense Department
- Both Bush and Cheney initially said that homosexuals could "do what they wanted to", now both are completely anti-gay marriage
He is basically still just a cheerleader - for the Project for a New American Century. Wikipedia - PNAC Global domination is the plan.

Normally, I don't get into politics. However, when it comes to how Bush has messed up our country, that's where I talk politics. I can't wait until he is out of office! He promises so much, yet delivers so little. Plus, he's added all this crap that he really shouldn't be allowed to do (like spying on phone conversations). QUOTE Bush is an I>D>I>O>T... the saddest part is he's on his second term!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ha, I pretty much agree with that. I really wished that they didn't elect him like they did. Hopefully, he will be kicked out of office if his approval rating drops too much.

I still don't understand something, HOW he was re-elected! thats absolutely unsense, first of all, he was the most irresponsible and undifferent with the WTC attack, also people noticed the kind of president that they voted, also there are reports CONFIRMING that theres no nuclearweapons in IRAQ! AND he said that he doesn't cares that report, cause he already has planned a POLICY for that country. But the point is, if he was re-elected by fraud, why the fellow citizens of USA doesn't riot against the power!? that is supposed to be done by the people if something is ridiculous or attemp to the order and democracy of a country. For me, he's the next dictator/emperor of the history.

The problem isn't with Bush. The problem is with the people who voted him into office. I can understand voting him in the first time but after his record over the first 4 years of his term, you would think there is no freaking way he would get in again. Well, Americans voted for him again... That just shows that the majority of american people are stupid or the majority of american voters are stupid. Whether or not Bush cheated to get into office the first time around, doesn't really matter anymore. The fact of the matter is, he was voted in the second time with a much bigger margin than the first time. Chances are he didn't cheat the second time. The main reason why people voted for Bush is because of terrorism. They felt scared and thought he was the best guy to deal with it. Well, what americans didn't know is that waging war against terrorists doesn't work. Any retard knows that. Let's go beat up a guy who is causing trouble. Did that ever work on the school playground? No. You beat up the bully he comes back wtih a friend and beats you up more than before. You think it works any different with terrorism? The "war on terror" is not making america safer. It is making america a BIGGER target. They hate america even more. So how has the war on terror helped? Really, I dare someone to name 3 benefits to americans from attacking iraq. In fact, I don't think there are any benefits at all.

I hold Right Wing beliefs, but Bush has really screwed up the economy. Gas prices are ridiculous. I liked it better with Clinton. Bush Senior was also a horrible president. It seems that the Republicans wish to help countries with oil and ignore the other ones.

well i voted for him twice myself but alot of things do seem fishy. not going to get in to it here but i am responding to your post because i disagree with what i quoted. there's only one way to deal with a bully and that's to stand up to up so he doesn't bully you anymore. if it means fighting for what you believe in and getting your face smashed a few times before he gets tired of ya and picks on someone else, then so be it. you stood up to yourself. or you get YOUR friends to smash his face and he's think twice of bullying ya. yes, it worked on the playground. what didn't work is telling the parents or the dean about what was going on because THEN he would catch ya after school and be more upset for getting him in trouble. btw- i say "him" because it's usually the guys with the big ego. i am not one to sit back and get hurt. and i am one that believes you have to protect yourself at all costs from little to big situations to ensure i don't get hurt anymore. now i don't know much about terrorism because i haven't studied it. i don't know exactly who and what was linked to 9/11 and i doubt anyone to this day knows the answer. but what i do believe is fighting back to an extreme and if that means soldiers die, then they die. you send the word out by force. you ensure they think twice before coming back to the u.s. to do what they did. unfortunately, you risk innocent lives when you do that. war is ugly. but at the same time, if you live in a country with known terrorists who constantly get their way through violence, you should get the heck outta that country or be subject to the consequences if others fight back against terrorism. now i voted for this man twice. not really the best man for the job but he acted the same way i would have after 9/11 even through out the coverups before and after 9/11. who is really able to run a country. its said you lose 10 years off your life when you try. it's not an easy job and you will never be able to please everyone. but i'll tell ya this....i believed in sending a word out. might have made people angry as it made the united states look like the bully, but we were the ones being attacked. it may have given us a reason to invade a couple countries, but so be it because not everything was on the up and up with them in the first place. these countries don't want to be blamed for what terrorists did so these terrorists will be getting heat not just from the u.s. but the other countries who lost because of 9/11. my friggin' RIGHTS were LOST after 9/11. anyone who has been to an airport after that date knows what i'm talking about. but i would rather lose rights than be unprotected when i fly. if we did nothing, then it would have been open season on the united states who would be known for doing nothing. screw that!

QUOTE Wars are needed with how the world works, hippy. Should we just let Iran get the bomb and everything will work out? As I've stated earlier, this isn't Gum drop lolipop fun land. War happens. People die, get over it. If you can't accept that death will occur and everyone you know will die, why were you born?
Hippy? So this is how it still works, anyone who is for peace, a pacifist if you will, is a hippy, and everyone who is for violence is a god given addition to Earth? Which nation was the only one that used the nuclear device, or should I say, weapon of mass destruction? United States! And they used it twice! And US still has nuclear program... Who gives them the right to do so? Who give US the right, to police the whole world? US is being hated more and more, throughout the world, and it's people like you Kioku, that only add oil to fire... Why aren't you in Iraq? Why aren't you defending yourself? You are just like ton's of people in my own country, that protect Kosovo, from a 200 hundred kilometers distance, but when they had to chance to actualy go, they chickened out... If you want to defend and protect something, go do it, don't just talk about it... America IS the world bully, and I think the United Nations should take some action, because, if US doesn't have to follow the rules everyone else does, others will follow their example... So far, the existence of the United Nations is pointless, and are setting double standards, showing how United States can do whatever they want, and go around the United Nations and United Nations Security Council, while they demand the rest of the world, to listen to what the United Nations say... I also agree on the point, that we should try and put ourselves in common American citizens shoes, and try and see things their way... They do live IN the box, and can't see past what their own government is showing them, and letting them see... I start from my own country, where about 70% of the population, can't see past what our government is serving us... Only those of us who use Internet every day, can see things from outside the box, and form a normal oppinion about things... I don't blame the American people in general, just those who think US has to play big brother to the whole world... Actualy, they play big brother only to those countries, that have something US can use for it's own purposes, be it land, oil, or other natural resources... Every country has extremists, same here, same in US, Canada, or any other country... But every normal, rational thinking person knows, that violence only brings more violence, which in turn brings more violence, and round it goes... If indeed US would take all their money dedicated to wars and killing people, and used it to feed hungry, a world would indeed be a very brighter and better place... Just try to mind other peoples business less, and clean up your own yard first... It's simple as that...

Bush is just a puppet. REALLY research 9-11 and you will probably at least agree that if our government didn't start it they surely knew about it and did nothing to stop it. as far as iraq goes yes we were lied to and so was bush , keep in mind the documents released to the public by our "intelligence" stated that iraq had chemical and biological weapons. whether or not they did I feel doesn't matter. saddam is a worthless piece of garbage and needed to be removed. heres a true analogy. when I was in 2nd grade their where a few older kids that would pick on me and my friends, beat us up steal our stuff, etc... we knew couldn't tell on em but I told my brother who is 4 years older than me 2 years older than these other kids. he basically told me to deal w/ it fight back and see what happens. after several days of black eyes and bloody noses my brother realized I was doing nothing but getting my butt kicked he stepped in kicked the crap outta 2 of them and they never touched me again. I think ,for whatever the reason we're there, saddam was the bully the iraqi people where the targets and the USA had to play big brother because no one else would. our government NOT JUST BUSH (you really think he's that smart?) has installed the most unpatriotic act ever and disquised it as the patriot act. and to the guy who complained about airport security.. go ahead and give up your rights but stop offering mine too.

I have held off replying to this post for a couple of reasons, but now is the time to post my reply. Impeachment is an available option, however, similar to other times in the recent past (Nixon/Vietnam Period comes to mind) the timing of the Impeachment process is terrible. The process will do more damage than usual because the United States are simply in too much turmoil at present. The Oil Crisis, the Iraqi war, Afghanistan, and the precarious state of the World economy are too delicate right now and to add the Impeachment process to the mix will not make the US position any better. Better to deal with the Devil you know and show a position of solidarity towards him in public than to have to deal with the unsettling Impeachment process... IMHO. As to the bullying nature of the US throughout the World, I agree. There has been a great influence of "Americanism" in this last century and the US is now the dominant influence. Other countries have been in similar positions before, (USSR in the Eastern Bloc, Great Britain historically) and look where they are today. The USSR has disbanded itself, and Great Britain is not the influence it once was. The lesson here is that given enough time the US will also wither in its dominant position. What will replace it? I don't know for sure, but there is hope that it would be something more "universal". Ideally, a New World Order??? A government of the world??? The United Nations??? There are many faces to the US position. Here in Canada there is as great an influence by the US culture as anywhere else in the World. Something like 80% of our population lives within 100 miles of the border with them and the little influences like the presence of their television signals in our airways has a great impact on our culture, but no influence is as strong as the economic stranglehold on our Economy. And we are "friends". They buy our water, our wood (Softwood Lumber issue aside for now, please. That is another rant.), our mined resources, our food output (grains, corn, etc) and we have allowed them to "own" our manufacturing processes to the maximum extent that they want to. In return, we purchase stuff back from them and give the US Corporations bundles of money as Corporate profits. So, are we any better off than the Iraqi's? Not in my opinion. Only difference is that we let them and there is a noticeable lack of guns involved. And to all the Americans reading this, please don't take this personal. I am not blasting Americans as individuals, just stating an opinion that the United States as a culture and as an economic force is in an advantageous position and are reaping the benefits, as most other countries would do under similar circumstances (refer to USSR and GB info above). Maybe it is time to recognize that the economic issues are what the rest of the World sees most readily. The results are the conflicts it creates. US dependence on foreign oil is not neccisarily best resolved by invading Iraq, or any other country. The Image of the US is as the playground bully described above. Right or wrong, that is the perception. And perceptions are held to be facts until some other influence alters it. If the US was to spend as much on feeding the world as it does on its Military machine, the world would be a better place. And we, as citizens of the World, should remedy the flaws in the system.

And that right there is the american attitude that everyone in the world HATES. That is what causes many of the problems america is facing. And NO it doesn't work on the playground. You go around beating up everyone who bothers you? You know what happened in the playground? you beating the *BLEEP* out of a bully doesn't make him stop. he will just find different ways to get back at you. Also, I didn't really want to say it but, America is the bully... they have "smashed in people's face" so often that people are responding by "smashing in america's face". many people think america DESERVED 9/11 and these people aren't the terrorists. I hate to break it to you but America is the most hated country in the world, they are regarded as the world's bully. Even america's friends hate them now... ie. canada, britian, and other "friend" nations. What you and your ilk don't understand is that you can protect yourself without "smashing someone's face in". Why do you believe fighting back "to an extreme" is necessary? With that attitude you are NO BETTER than the terrorist. Terrorists fight using extreme methods and you are willing to do the same. How do you expect terrorists to stop when you are taking this stance? QUOTE(anwiii @ Apr 26 2006, 04:03 PM) now i don't know much about terrorism because i haven't studied it.
that much is obvious. Do you know what happened in palestine and israel? Israel agreed to stop being the bad *arse* bully and "shashing palastine's face in". The result was LESS violence... When Israel kept bull dozing palestine homes, guess what happened? MORE violence... go figure... Takeing a LESS extreme stance actually produces LESS violence... how would have thought? QUOTE(anwiii @ Apr 26 2006, 04:03 PM) now i voted for this man twice. not really the best man for the job but he acted the same way i would have after 9/11 even through out the coverups before and after 9/11. who is really able to run a country. its said you lose 10 years off your life when you try. it's not an easy job and you will never be able to please everyone. but i'll tell ya this....i believed in sending a word out. might have made people angry as it made the united states look like the bully, but we were the ones being attacked. it may have given us a reason to invade a couple countries, but so be it because not everything was on the up and up with them in the first place. these countries don't want to be blamed for what terrorists did so these terrorists will be getting heat not just from the u.s. but the other countries who lost because of 9/11.
Yes, that's the problem with americans (yes... not ALL americans, just those who agree with bush)... they have such extreme attitudes that many would (and do) consider them extremists. And Yes... who gives a *BLEEP* about all those innocent people who are dead because the US needs to get the word out. Let the world know that the US means business... If we don't like you, we will kick your *arse*. Next, you think the US is the only one who has suffered from terrorist attacks? The US has hardly ever been hit by terrorism. Have you heard of the IRA? They have been bombing england for a long time. And guess what? England stopped trying to bully the IRA and violence DECREASED!! Second, because the US just had to get the word out, this has had a cascading effect on the REST OF THE WORLD. The US is not the only country in the world and their actions are not isolated to their own country. Actions by the US affect the ENTIRE WORLD. That attitude makes me sick. You make the world a CRAPPY place. You just show that you don't give a *BLEEP* about the rest of the world... And that is exactly why those terrorists HATE you. And "so be it"?? Ya let's attack those countries cause they weren't on the "up and up" anyway. Who are you to judge? Do you understand that the rest of the world does not see things the same way as you do? QUOTE(anwiii @ Apr 26 2006, 04:03 PM) my friggin' RIGHTS were LOST after 9/11. anyone who has been to an airport after that date knows what i'm talking about. but i would rather lose rights than be unprotected when i fly. if we did nothing, then it would have been open season on the united states who would be known for doing nothing. screw that!
You think all those changes makes flying any safer than it was? All those "changes" were to ease the fears of the masses. It was bush saying "look! I did something". Any real security analyst will tell you, all that stuff they did doesn't help. Terrorists don't need planes to blow stuff up. I hate to break it to you, terrorists are already living in the US. Have you heard of sleepers? There are tons of places where they could kill tons of people. I know someone who went to the lincoln monument in washington and there were thousands of people with NO security. You know what has changed after 9/11? nothing. What's changed is that americans are living in fear and they grasp at anything to ease their fears. If I were al queda, i would laugh myself to sleep everynight. "Look at these morons, taping their homes up to prevent biological weapons from killing them... oops, i guess they forgot that they need air to live too... stupid americans!" In summary... Your attitude and your actions only make terrorism WORSE. Do you think you can SCARE them into stopping what they are doing? They kill themselves just to hurt you. I doubt you can scare them. And, do you think you can kill all of them? Well, you can't. It is impossible. How many years has it been since 9/11? They can't even catch bin laden let alone kill all terrorists... lol... how do you kill an idea? If you can tell me how to kill an idea, then I agree that you should go to war and kill all those terrorists.

OMG you won't believe what the bunny huggers are wanting now! (7) Ok, I know the animal rights people are way over the top, crazy as bed bugs, but this is even a bit
much for them. See the full story at http://www.officialnewsagency.com/index.ph...amp;id=74&I
The marble statue is dedicated to service dogs, wonderful and noble dogs that serve mankind in so
many ways, protectors, eyes for the blind, ears for the deaf, finding missing children and so many
other things that dogs do for us. What is wrong with these idiots? Are they so removed from
reality that they don't understand that mother nature did intend for dogs to pro....

some scary dreams told from people i can trust (they're not lieng) (11) My mum was telling me about her brother's death one time and she mentioned my grandma having a
dream before it happpened. My mum said that my nan had a dream of buying a coffin. She thought that
her time was about to come (in her dream) so she bought a coffin. Only a few weeks later did my
mum's 21 year old brother die. He was on his motor bike, driving safely until two other people

I Hate Byethost!
It is stupid! (24) Byethost has to be one of the worst free hosting companies! They promise you the world, but they
actually are giving you next to nothing! They give you a Control Panel that is so out-dated,
Christopher Columbus may have used it! Half the time, pages don't load the way they should,
or half the people trying to access a page can not properly view it. You have to pay to use PHP
based mailers, to! Plus, the banners on every page are enough to make you want to punch your
monitor, and say the heck with your whole website! So, after some coaxing from a f....

Was working and all of a sudden my computer shut down, I'm like..oh great. So my sister and I

Stupid Teenagers!
Grrrr.... (48) I am a teenager, but at least I'm a sensible one! I am so sick of all these
people in my school thinking they're the shiz because when they have no viable retort, they use
the bullet-proof "ur mawm" or "ur *happy*". The *happy* one really pisses me off. I'm not
homosexual, but these stupid-arse kids think that being *happy* is something bad and then they acuse
random people of being so. GAHH!!!!! And I also hate how people misuse the term
"retarded" or "retard". It is used so much in my school that it has lost its meaning. ....

Bush Is Doing The Work Of The Terrorists
political discussion (2) Who was it who said: QUOTE The object of terrorism is to try to force us to change our way of
life, is to force us to retreat, is to force us to be what we're not. And that's --
they're going to fail. They're simply going to fail. go here so we have to do
everything in our power to protect this way off life. But what is this way of life? Pursuit of
happiness? Living to you capabilities, living out the american dream of the world being your oyster.

Can The Internet Make You Stupid ?
truth & information vs. lies & dis-information (54) Hi all, How does the internet affect your thinking ability?? There's little real
"accountability" out there on the net. Anybody can post just about anything ... I you take what
someone says on the net at "face value" ... and believe it. ..then the "wrong" idea gets inside
your head .. and can make you "stupid". Some associated questions to think about: Who do you believe
as an authority on a subject ???? Who do you trust?? How do know when to trust them? How many "blind
alleys" have you been led down by mis-informed ppl, lying ppl, or just plain stupid ppl with no r....

any more? /biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /> ~ Munchie

Other then that, my two "friends" who should have my back are being total *BLEEP*es. Scott is mad at
me for wanting him to cover me FOR THE FIRST *BLEEP*ING TIME I HAVE EVER ASKED HIM FOR *BLEEP*. I
was there when he broke up with Dani, when no one else wanted to be his friend I was there, when
people purposely dismissed him for parties and crap I invited myself so that he had an excuse to be
invited, I was there when his dad died, I was the only one who went to his birthda....
Stupid Girls
Girls are stupid (21) I used to be friends with these two girls who are best friends. But lately they have become soooo
*BLEEP*y. They like whisper about people in front of their faces but don't actually TELL them.
Its so annoying. And then if you ever confront them they just totally deny it all and act like they
have done nothing wrong. They also are so horrible to everyone. So we weren't getting on and
then one lunchtime they kept walking in and out of the room. We were all wondering what the hell
they were doing. Then after like 5 times of walking in and out we started talking abou....
