This is Tim Berners-Lee's new blog. Any real geek should know who he is. He invented the World Wide Web. A few years ago he coded the first browser/editor for the protocal which would read web pages and could edit them on the fly if you have write permissions to the FTP or whatever they used back in the internet stone age. Tim explains more in his first post. In the comments on the first post many of the jokingly say "Hey Tim, I wonder if the internets thingy will ever catch on?" which is a nice touch.
Anyway i'm looking forward to see what Tim, the person I have worshipped oh-so much for oh-so long, has to offer in this personal blog. I'm hoping it'll be the best web standards blog around and not a life blog so I would call it. I'm abit late on this but oh well.
One question to people though. This Tim Berners-Lee does claim to invent it. The internet. But I was sure Al-Gore did that? |

Wow awsome find. I can't believe someone so..popular? Or important like him would actually be posting in a blog like a normal person! And you're right, any geek should know who he is...And I hope you do.. If you don't, in short, Timbl created the WWW... I've seen so many movies about this, and not in a single one did they EVER mention Al-Gore. I highly doubt he invented anything.

Sorry about the Al-Gore refrance. Its a old forum joke. He once claimed in a speech to have invented the internet so we geeks use it as a joke. Although snopes claims he didn't, so I don't know  .

How can I create a proxy on my website to bypass my schools internet f (0) My highschools internet is all filtered from accessing webistes such as games porn etc. In the past
i have managed to overcome this by accessing a proxy on numerous websites. This involves going to
this website then entering the desired blocked website into a input box. Then that website transfers
me to the blocked website via this webiste. At least this is how i think it works.... How can I add
something similar to this on a website of my own?....

Web Page Working Except On Internet Explorer

gotten to have NO errors or warnings on both of my page and CSS document. It even works on Netscape,

Hope To Find A Counter For Each Article In A Blog
(4) I signed up a blog recently, there is a simple text counter in my blog. Of course, I wrote some
articles in the blog, and the text counter counts the visitors. But the counter only counts how many
visitor come to my blog, no any detail about how many times each article is read can be seen. Is

counter exists, I can put the script of the counter in the title or description of my blog, then
