to me they are always bad. I hate pop ups and even pop under. I hate ads in general. I hate to close them one by one everytime it pops up and I hate the ones that open full screen and I have to press CTRL F4 to close.

I hate all kinds of adds, they disturb me...When there's a nice tasteful and not very big add on a site then ok, but popups and popunders are really annoying.. Especially I hate that kind of stuff which pops up and asks if i want to download something, if i say 'yes', then it says that I must clock yes to view site.. this thing has occured to me here, at trap17 too...

I hate pop ups and pop unders. I hate pop unders the most. Image and text links are fine, as long as they don't clutter the webpage. The webmaster's gotta get some money somehow right.....?

Essentailly, any pops that are generated from your site will drive away visitors, so always go to the small textual ads if you ever display ads on your site. I think ads all together are bad, as they derive from the content of the website.

I also hate popups when im trying to do find something out on the internet especially on my nans 56k internet connection from her pc the popups just slow her pc down so it take more time to do find something which should only take like 5 minutes take somthing like 10 - 15 minutes because of popups. it gets on my nerves so i instaleld mozilla firefox on my nans instead so i dont have to use microsoft internet explorer because it is so crummy. on my pc i have mozilla firefox as my web browzer and i ahve popup stopper running so if one doesnt stop them the other will

I also really do not like popups. I really hate the ones that flash different colors. Its painful to the eyes... I also dont like any with noise. It can really get annoying, especially if you keep getting the same popup. But thanks to a popup blocker I dont see very many popups.

Popups are enoying, they just bothers and make no sense for the most. Why go visit a page, and knowing you will be tormented with popups? Certainly you avoid it if you can. Opensubtitles.org for one exemple are one of these sites that by clicking the letterbox you call for a script that firefox included popup-blocker cannot block and its open up an advert. Thats irritating, but often one of these sites you cannot live without, so it is biting the sour apple when entering the last outpost for subtitles. Must I be giving negative opinion i also have to say something positive. One of the very few positive with popups and are in order if you calling for it, like watching a game trailer on gamespot.com for an exemple.

I absolutely hate popups! They make me so mad, I just do not get the point? Of course they force us into actually looking at those horrible ads, but do people really care about them? Well, what I am meaning is; do the popups makes us want to take a look at the product, site, game or whatever they are trying to make us to? Whenever I see one of those, I just click out of the site. I just do not think sites that voluntary uses the popups, are very serious. Lots of ads ruins a site! If everyone were like me sites with popups would not get any visitors. ^^ So get rid of them, please!

i hate popups, because sometimes i'll just be reading something or typing somethin into the address bar and BAM! i get interrupted like several times. its definatly annoying to the point where it just frustrates me and makes me just logg off the computer. Ad's also suck, although the web owner dood XD wants to make some money off of it, they're some that just have way to many ad's on their page. probably more ad's than they do content.

Advertising pop-ups are the most annoying thing on the internet, i have a 2 year old laptop (not the fastest) and they slow my computer down  I'm fine with ads in general, without them websites wouldn't be financially viable. Its the ones that i have no interest in that i hate. I also hate the way that if i turn the pop-up blocker on (the one that is included in Internet Explorer) it blocks those annoying pop-ups, but i have to temp. allow pop-ups for any pages that open in new windows. I also find that i'm seeing more and more tracking cookies on my computer as more sites look to adding ads to their site.

Pop-up, down, sideways... Even all the way to heaven, are all messed up and those people who make them make it look so ugly I always am like " AHHH! My eyes! It burns, it burns!" Just use an AdBlocker and it's all gone  Which pop-ups are you talking about tricky77puzzle? I don't get what you are saying

Is 2d A Thing Of The Past?
(12) This topic is sort of about 2d games competing with 3d games, and aimed more at game developers. Is
2D in the past? With modern gaming, would you even consider purchasing a 2D game? I use trap17 to
run a site for RPG Maker XP/VX(I know a few others on trap17 do also), which is an all round site
for creating 2D games. Some interesting discussions have come up on the forums on 2d vs 3d game
making. I usually go with 3D saying that it is much better than 2D, and with todays modern games,

before and when I thought about where I believe it was copied directly from a religious tract

Free Graphic Programs As Opposed To The Real Thing
(5) I am sure many of you have heard of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator and their "FREE"
competition, The Gimp and Inkscape. Personally myself I love all Adobe Software, but can't

I have just recently started using the two, although I design my websites with Adobe Photoshop, but

What Is The Advantage Of Safe Mode Off?
Why is "safe mode off" a good thing? (3) I've seen a lot of webhosts where a paid upgrade is "Safe Mode OFF". I know here at Trap17 that
it's turned off by default on all webhosting, but I'd just like to know, why is this an
advantage? What features that are enabled are so important that they have to be disabled in safe

Weird Disk Quota Thing
(1) My site won't let me upload anything new. I was trying to upload a new flash thing I made, and
it kept saying that my disk quota was exceeded, so I deleted some files, to see if that would help.
That didn't work, so I deleted some more, and it still didn't work. Then, I was looking
around, and I found the /etc file, and it had three files, passwd, quota, and shadow, and they were
all 0kb. Then I decided to use the cpanel, instead of fireFTP, and I tried emptying the trash to

I Am Very Much Addicted To Internet

well...Since this is kindda the only thing I really know...Its all I c (0) Hello In order to add a char to M.U.G.E.N you must first open the MUGEN folder and open "Char"
folder Next you must look for the char you downloaded from any MUGEN website and check the name

School Timetables
It may seem like a minor thing, but its really bugging me (4) We get our school timetables after our summer holiday. They are meant to be created over the summer,
which gives the staff 6 weeks to sort them out. So, why on earth do they never have them ready on
our first day? They always send a note out on the first day apologising for the fact they
haven't even started the timetable. Then, magically, its done by the second day. If they can do
it in 2 days, why can't they do it in 6 weeks ?!? And, when I finally received my

Strange Thing Happened To My Computer
