i just searched a site on google and was able to get the flash videos off youtube. That same site had a good conversion program which converted the flv file to an avi file very quickly. I will report back with the name of the site and program if anyone wants to know.

youtube is too slow to download video to my computer. I think i don't like youtube but it is good for every body

Well I know a quick way for opera users to download youtube and google videos. Install the widget called videodownloader , paste the link of the video required and just save the video to disk. Also use VLC player to view flv files.

If you want to put the video on your site:

1. Copy and paste the code on the side of the screen onto your Raw HTML Paragraph Editor (if you use Freewebs for site-making, it is worded exactly like that), and the video will appear on your site after you are finished with the whole process of editing the site page that you want the video to appear on.

2. Contact the owners/makers/whatever of the video and ask them to email the video to you in an attachment. Then upload the video onto your site and after you finished the whole process of editing the site page you want the video to appear on, the video will appear on the site page.

3. Try right-clicking on the video and you might be able to "Copy". Then go to your Site Page Editor and "Paste" the video onto the Site Page Editor's view of the page. Finish the whole editing process and the video will be on your site page.

If you just want the vids to have:

1. Contact the owners/makers/whatever of the video and ask them to email it to you in an attachment. Then when you get the email, open the attachment and save it, and there you go: you have the video!

2. Try right-clicking on the video and if "Save As" shows up, click "Save As" and save the video to your computer. Then you can watch it using Windows Media Player, or Windows Movie Maker, and/or you can edit it using Windows Movie Maker.


I think that was pretty thorough, and I hope I made it easy for you to understand. What you're asking for I don't know if anybody can give you, and it's complicated. But I hope this helped!

If you are using firefox, downloadhelper is the best tool available. It is an extension that alows you to download videos from several sites. Opera users can use the videodownloader widget.

I have program for download videos from youtube, but quality is awful, what you can advise me.

It's a good tool and I have been answered several times how to download youtube videos before I even noticed this existed. So I suppose it's useful, but for me... well, I have downloaded two or three vids and I found that the quality is normally so poor that it's ok to see them online, but there's no point in keeping them on your hdd or even burning them to a cd or dvd.
