I'am quite late have to knew that the Windows XP SP3 have been released for beta testing long before. Although the company was marked the first half of next year that will open this service pack to the public. But what if it was buggy than instead re-mark the release day might be better than that. As Windows Vista is the case.  QUOTE Microsoft made available on December 3 for download the near-final Release Candidate (RC) of Windows XP Service Pack (SP) 3.
The RC is available to all Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) and TechNet subscribers. This isn’t yet a generally available, “public” RC of XP SP3; that is still coming at some future date that Microsoft hasn’t disclosed.
Microsoft provided an RC “preview” of XP SP3 to 15,000 testers in mid-November.
Microsoft is still on track to ship the final XP SP3 in the first half of calendar 2008. XP SP3 is a rollup of all previously released XP updates, according to Microsoft, “including security updates, out-of-band releases, and hotfixes.”
Lately, Microsoft has been releasing XP SP3 and Vista SP1 builds in lockstep. (The same 15,000 testers that got XP SP3 RC preview also got the Vista SP1 RC preview.) Given that Microsoft told its own employees to expect the company to make the RC of Vista SP1 more broadly available some time this week, it seems logical that the Vista SP1 RC is right around the corner, too.
Microsoft also told its own employees to expect the public test build of Vista SP1 to hit the week of December 10. The final Vista SP1 bits are due in the first calendar quarter of 2008.

Last time I tried to test on of their pre-release candidates was a disaster. It was SP2 , by the way. I hated it. It took around 2 hours to install. Then there was that security center. Uninstall button? After the uninstall, I had to restart my computer. BSOD frenzy. So, I had to get a linux live-CD to get files off the hard drive, then reinstall windows. Beware. SP3 will probably be different, though, It will probably be easier to uninstall and install. Oh, also, we should soon expect a free SP3 CD offer from microsoft, I got a SP2 one when it came out, It arrived in about 2 days after I ordered it. Thanks for the info.

Windows Xp Sp2 Restarting After Some Time
(6) Hi , I dont know what happened but My system restarts after a few Minutes (at max an hour). Can
someone guess what might be wrong. It displays a System Shutdown Timer (initiated by
Administrator) and then restarts after 60 sec. This is an SP2 so I dont think its a blaster. I

Windows Vista Installation Fails
(3) Hello. I tried Installing Windows Vista Home Premium today, but when it comes to the part
of the Installation where it says "Your computer will restart several times" my computer restarts
more then 40 times, and never loads after that. After like, 10-15 minutes of it being off, I switch
it back on, and it restores to XP (Witch is good because it wouldn't start up at all). I've
tried installing this 4 times altogether, and nothing. it keeps restarting continuously more then 40

Windows Xp: Explorer.exe Crashes On Certain Accounts
(5) I share a Windows XP computer with two friends, and we each have our own User Account on the
computer. Recently whenever my friends use the PC, they begin to have problems with it. For no
reason whatsoever, Windows Explorer will crash and close all the current folders that are open. I
went onto their User Accounts to see for myself (with permission, of course), and found that
Explorer would crash any time I right-clicked a File, and would also crash on occasion if I clicked

Windows Vista Randomly Freezing
Vista freezes randomly (15) So I just installed vista upon the almighty computer, and it worked fine for a day or less. (Bah). I

What Would You Rather Change In Windows
minor things that annoy me in Windows (5) This is not a Win/Linux/Mac dispute, rather pointing out a few minor things that I find really
annoying in Windows OS and I'd rather change if I had the chance/knowledge (disclaimer: I mainly
refer to winxp but I've used almost all other versions, I have some experience with Linux and
almost never used a Mac OS) copying/moving files: ever tried to copy a folder containing one or
more corrupted files? if I were the OS I'd just skip those and copy the good ones, then prompt a

Windows Xp And Dos Multiboot
how?? (10) Question to you all, I have a computer running windows XP, now I want to add a "real" DOS
enviroment on the computer (not cmd or dosbox or something like that). So I thought dualboot will
